This isn’t just Miles story … these movies do a perfect job at encapsulating the importance and impact of every single Spider-Man in the multiverse .

Low key Gwen gets TOO much hate and I’m glad people do appreciate her and the arc she went through in the film. Besides from miles she’s kinda starting to become one of my favorite versions of Spider-Man. Really hope her and miles get a heartwarming moment in the next film

Gwen is literally my favourite character. She takes care of her friends and always make sure she's there whenever they need. Besides, about the thing they hate Gwen, idk. She's one of good strong female characters we got. She's not always right, and prolly her powers which are just same as other spidey. That's why I like her

God I love when amvs first show the character being badass and the cool fight scenes, and then the second half reveals their vulnerable, emotional side

Every Spider is defined by loss. That loss is a part of them. It makes them who they are. It's inseparable from their identity as a hero. Gwen is truly on her own in her universe. She's had no one to rely on and no one to confide in. Of the two people she could've confided in, one is dead and the other blames her for a crime she didn't commit. She's so used to being alone that she pushes away anyone who tries to get close. She pushed Miles away and it's her biggest regret. She's afraid of how much she cares for him, because the last time she cared for someone that much they ended up dead. Miles' story is about finding himself and carving his own path. Gwen's is about opening herself up again and finding people she can count on again.

Miles: you lied and they died YOU LIED AND THEY DIED

I think when Gwen tells Miles that when Gwen falls for Spiderman it doesn't end well. I think she thinks of herself as Spiderman and Miles is Gwen. She's the jaded, isolated and hardened hero. And Miles is the optimistic innocent, who will suffer from his association with her like her Peter parker. She doesn't want to fall for Miles because she's afraid he'll die.

Gwen became my favorite character the moment i saw this movie. I'm an INFP and she's an ISTP so if we ever met together, we'd probably have good chemistry just like how her and miles ended up. The moments of Gwen and her dad just kill me man. Like, I never expected her to go that deep on her frustration, guilt, pain, and loneliness. When Gwen hurt Miles, I could also feel the hurt. I don't understand why she's so hated she's your literal guardian angel. I'll make a bit of references here from the song, but she'll do anything for you even though it sends her to heaven or back home. If I were to have her as my friend, my cousin probably wouldn't mind and let her in open arms. One thing she also does is normalizing to be respectful. I find joy in watching violent cartoons but I don't let it get in my way! Some people really have plastic brains that it makes them subconsciously follow it. Do think she deserves a series (at least a mini series) because she's an interesting character. All I have to say, peace out

First of all, great video! I really enjoyed your edit, keep it up ^^ Now I am sorry in advance but I kinda have the urge to rant a bit- 'bout Spider-Gwen , so...sorry ^^' Honestly I'd buy a game where you get to play as Gwen and you're in her world and you just go through her story- all of it- or beyond it (I hope that it could maybe be it's own thing, like the playstation Marvel's Spider-Man game- because I doubt that they're gonna give Gwen her own Movie where the story is actually exploring what Gwen Stacy being a Spider-person does to her story, instead of just making her *another* Spider-Man's girlfriend, but like ''Oh she's a spider now too and she's not the Love interest of a Peter now, so we've clearly done it differently this time!'', but I digress). I just think she's an amazing and complex character all on her own- like Hobie is one too for example- that deserves the chance to shine without being an extension of someone else, something that further develops someone elses story rather than her own. And I get it- Miles is the main character of ITSV and ATSV, of course the supporting characters are there, in part, to help him along, get through his Arc, his story, so that he can grow. And that's great, I like Miles and I'm interested in where his story will take him, but I'd also like it if we'd get to see and/or experience the Lifes and storys of other Spider people- like Gwen, Hobie and Pav and many others- instead of just seeing Peter Parkers and the occaisonal Miles Morales variants. ATSV showed just how many different Spider people there are, so why shouldn't we get to see at least *some* their stories too? (And yes I know there are comics, but it's like the only movies you find are about ''Peter Parker, Spider-Man'' since he's the original and all, but still) Just something I thought about after watching the movie, so yea sorry if it's a bit long or you find it annoying- you don't have to read it if you don't want to of course.. Miles and Gwen weren’t really dating in these movies, dude. They’re more of like besties. But I do see where you’re coming from and I respect your opinion. I think that this is the best version of Gwen because she’s a flawed character because she has to overcome the fear of being close to people. She has no one, and she has to rediscover that it’s okay to rely on others for help.
