Watching you make your salad dressing inspires me to share my salad dressing-as It starts quite like yours! Only I make the full jar and use it Daily. 1part vinegar (i like balsamico) 2part olive oil a spoon of Dijon mustard 2 spoons Mayonnaise or unsweetened yogurt Some maple syrup or runny honey Sesame oil And soy sauce for the salt. Taste for flavor balance and adjust. You can add lemon or Orange juice also. It's the secret behind our ability to eat plates full of salad. Hope you try it!

Today, we have Japan Day here in Düsseldorf, Germany. It's a big event with Japanese Food, Japanese Music. There are Manga Workshops and you can buy traditional Japanese items too. People also get a view in Japanese Culture, there a many lectures today and for creativity, people can learn something about Origami for example. Ah, my son did Aikido since he was 13 here in NZ. He is 35 now. He is brown belt. One before black. I think the boys must love it too. ❤

Hello Linna, hope you are doing well and back slowly to the nice routine after the journey. One different little receipe i do a lot when it is green asparagus's seson. I put them in boiling water for 5 minutes maximum and then I sauté them in a frying pan with just a little oil, salt and pepper. They are crunchy and go with almost everything.Take care 💮💮

That tomato and chicken curry looked amazing! My sister promised to stop at the international grocery store for me when she comes down to visit. I'm gonna have her get me the green curry powder, I used it often when I lived in St. Louis. I want to make my husband curried beef, dal and naan for supper. I think he will love it.

I agree, there are too many options around Yokohama station! For Japanese cuisine, I would recommend HOKAIDO in Sky Building. They served nice set lunch featuring food from Hokkaido, with great view of Yokohama. Their lunch is very reasonable. Or Nana’s Green Tea in Takashimaya. The OCHATUKE set lunch is delicious served with dessert and tea of preference, only 1500yen or so! There are really lots of restaurants in each shopping mall like Sogo or Lumine. Basically the quality are all good! I hope you find a restaurant you like 🎶🤗

I soak my wood skewers before cooking with them

With the spicy food craving I usually go for korean good as I'm not that fond of the spices used in Indian cooking. I only know that salted lycee drink as ready to drink. Didn't know there was an undiluted version as well! I love that taste in hot weather. There is also a shio suika ramune that is also so good chilled in summer. I always make chicken miso zuke (works with pork or beef as well) I wonder how that would be with teh miso and green chili. Or is that purely used as a condiment, not as you would use regular miso? With the eggs is that still the sign you can only get one pack per customer? :( I have bought a lot of clothes for my daughter at GU, and some for myself. But especially with children growing so gast it is great to have a cheaper option as the grow out of it in one season. Dishes are my weakness. I always buy so much of them even when I don't really have room to store them and sometimes not sure how I should get them home on the airplane.
