This song hits me--I am a Stage 3 Lung cancer survivor. I actually say I am a chemo survivor. First chemo treatment about killed me--don't remember the 1st 2 days in the hospital. I also watched my Daddy go through the same thing back in the 90's. Been on both sides. I cried when mom climbed into bed with her daughter. I did the same when my Daddy was dying. His last night I climbed into bed with him and held him til he breathed no more and there was no heartbeat. What's worse is I am a nurse and I couldn't save my Daddy. The more he needed me as a nurse, the more I retreated to the 3-4 yr old holding his hand...it was tough! Plus had to file bankruptcy because of all the bills. IT FUCKING SUX! I am here, I didn't break!

I am a firm believer in Jesus but I am also one of those people that believes that everyone has their own beliefs and you should not be unkind or disrespectful to someone because they have their own beliefs so compassion is very important. I'm a hardcore conservative and I hope that you continue to get better and stay strong my man. Love.
