I like guy Spier he is very intelligent. However, it is not just intelligent people thing. The key to success in investing is not just patience. It is the ability to secure insight from the noise. Buffett lives and lived in Omaha Nebraska , far from Wall Street, and from all the noise. The money is in that analysis of a company and to take into account for real world risks, it faces. The more questions are asked about a proposition the better. Of course there are those that are no brainers. Like if Coke cola if comes down to a very low price. It becomes a no brainer.

Thank you for sharing. Question: first quarter of 2022 Munger sold 300k shares of Alibaba (that he bought in last quarter of 2021). Anybody understand why? Maybe sold on NY and bought in Hong Kong, or something changed? Please, add your replay.

Thanks for the comment mate, there is alot of speculation around why he sold but as far as I know Charlie hasn't said why he sold. A few possible reasons good be tax loss harvesting or maybe he got a margin call on those shares and was forced to liquidate or like you mentioned he may have sold to buy on the HK exchange, personally I don't think that is the case but we can't rule it out, hope that helps mate.

@@Neil.Denize He sold it for tax loss harvesting. If you look at the number of the shares sold, 302,060, equals to the shares he bought in 2021. Then he bought 300,000 shares for long term holding. I expect him to hold these for 5-10 years if not longer.

Sorry mate I can't help you, only you can make that call. Do you need that capital for something else? Or do you not like seeing your investment go down and want to cut your losses? Perhaps try looking at from more of a long term view like 5 to 10 years 😉
