When my uncle was fighting cancer I played this to him everyday.. he passed Feb 15th this year.. thank you for getting me through this with the time I had left with him..❤

I Just want to thank you Guy, my partner had a stroke 4 days ago and I could not go to see him because of Covid; I am in Victoria. I was on the phone to him and we were both crying as he tried to speak clearly and he was depressed. He wanted to give in but I asked him to fight. I could not put it in words and could not see him so I asked him to listen to your song as it says everything I wanted to say. Dude...this song...I have been bawling my eyes out!! My husband deals with PSTD stemming from being raped by an officer when he was in the US navy. They covered it up, threw him out on the street, and it led to a decade long downward spiral before we met. I've always stood by him...100% unconditional love...I married him on 12/12/12 at 12pm. This song has helped me find yet another way to say everything to him that's in my heart. Thank you and namaste

I was sent this song the same night I was about to sit in the bathtub and just bleed out, a friend of mine knew i was going through some things and she sent this to me and it helped so much. Been enjoying Kryptonite, TSB, Cover on my Heart, My Beautiful Friend, Just as I am, Oh Oh, Closer to the sun, Make Heaven Wait, Armageddon, Summer Love....and the list goes on, love them then and now. Im an avid fan. A change of style since Memphis, I kind of rested from listening (but still supporting) because I couldnt hear "the old idol guy" singing (except some from armageddon). But still, no matter what, I'm a fan.

This song and Battle Scars, two of the best songs ever written. Hard to type this sentence when you have something in your eye.

When all inspirations seem to disappear, Guy Sebastian brings them back.

What an emotional song by a fantastic artist. Two weeks after a failed suicide attempt, I'm grateful to my friend for walking by my side.

I'm loving this song the moment I heard it. But I'm very much intrigued by the characters and their struggles. The oldest male, maybe suffering from health or maybe death of a loved and his represented by the flower. The boy may be suffering with self-esteem or lack of friendships, and the parrot is like a representation of that lack. The other, is working male, may be struggling with work as represented by a bleeding pen on a notebook. Last one, is obviously a gay person, may be struggling with a broken self-image brought about by judgment and stigma, represented by the broken mirror. Aside from the very powerful lyrics, the video is as powerful. Good job Guy Sebastian!!

Joel Porteous-Hurst since primary, i dont have many friends, a few good friends left me after another group of classmates talk bad stuff about me behind my back. I was hurt but chose to stay silent, then i made new friend then same thing happened again until the end of highschool. Along the way, a friend apologized for leaving me without having the truth checked. Another friend thank me for not blaming his childish act. Anyway, fast forward I am 37 y o now, everything is good, i have my lovely husband and a son, I have 3 true friends, no more funny gossips, life is simple and most importantly everyone around me now are always supporting each other mentally and emotionally. So, although you feel like you are alone now, you will be fine! You will find true friends that will always be there for you, no drama! So, stay strong and take care of yourself!

Where does the 'depression' train take its victims? For many, to a dark place named suicide. Sometimes they've just lost someone dear (boy with bird), they're in a broken relationship (old man with flowers), they detest their reflection (man with mirror) or maybe they're overwhelmed with hopelessness as everything they touch seems to fall apart (asian man with pen). Don't pretend you have the answers to their problems. Just be that someone by their side and hope that one day... ... they'll walk out the train by themselves.

What do you do when there’s a song stuck in your head that makes you cry every time you hear it? It hurts.

I live in the states and Guy is never played on the radio here-NEVER! I have lots of his stuff downloaded, though, and whenever one of his songs plays in my car, people who’ve never heard of him will ask, “Who the heck is this? How come I’ve never heard this before?” He’s just sooo good. His talent is undeniable!

This song is incredible and deserves SO MUCH more recognition! The melody is spectacular and the lyrics tug at your heartstrings. It obviously deals with the topics of isolation and depression which, considering the current situation, is so timely and important. But what truly impresses me is the fact that the lyrics are carefully crafted to carry such a positive and holistic message from a psychological standpoint: providing support by holding space for someone and allowing them to process through their emotions without forcing any agenda or judgement upon them. This is exactly what you should when dealing with someone going through depression. I know because I went through it. Can't praise Guy enough for putting together such a brilliant piece of work, both musically and lyrically, and for sharing a beautiful message of empathy and compassion

Well, what they are trying to say is that he is very unique and helps people who can't afford so much therapy but Guy Sebastian is one of the few singers who put emotion and what people can relate to as well. But I have had a life born into a toxic family mental physical emotional abuse molested for years until I escaped then was in a 28 year relationship being totally controlled found my last partner who had Suicided while I went out for 45mins.
