I had a 66 650 Bonneville TT special, never jumped it but rode it hard. I would really like to ride the 1200. My last big British Twin was an 850 Norton commando. I am 67 years young but still love to go fast on a good ride. Love your videos Guy, keep up the good work.

@Doggo Wrangler No it does't what. No one ever said it did something. I never said a street bike was good off road. Steve McQueen obviously didn't listen to "Experts" like you when he successfully jumped the Triumph Bonneville 650 and did his own stunts in the Great Escape Movie.

Have you seen Le Mans? Legend has it, Porsche wanted him to race IRL for the 24 hours, but wasn't allowed. Later in the real life race weekend it was filmed at, he donned one of the driver's helmets, and did a stint. Hellraiser when it comes to motor-racing, is a GREAT thing, as long as they are able and capable, and not put anyone else's life at risk. Speaking of which, Guy competing at the Le Mans 24 hours would be absolutely fucking fantastic.

these are only clips of the full length show. It wouldn't surprise me if triumph didn't say how much weight they stripped though as it might make potential customers think that triumph bikes are overweight.

I took the silencer off my Triumph Scrabbler and put on straight pipes. The roar scares the Devil himself.

the bike does 0-60 in under four seconds weighs around 400lbs can be pinned at 130mph it is a dream enduro you have no clue what your talking about it is a whole second or two slower then a doge demon or a hellcat....or even a 911 it is an enduro not a street bike an by the way you speak I doubt you have anything quicker then that 1200xc it is as quick as most kawasaki ninjas you know nothing an your speaking out of your ass an on top of that its an ednuro dual sport that is quicker then your street bike... that is light enough to be launched it really is a greatly made bike they though of alot in its design it does the quarter mile stock in 12 seconds an if you change the gear ratio I bet it would do it in 10

it is faster then (any new dirt bike) the only bikes that are quicker are cr 500s kx500 canam 350 yz500s up (two strokes)... unless your riding a gem like ktm 440 or 500 which cost a fortune to repair some 90s era one may match in accleration tho no two stroke is gunna be pinned for very long much past 90mph.... your slow dont intend to offend tho your speaking out your ass that bike is faster then most sport bikes 2 seconds slower then the top of the line ducati...

@@marcoopolo888 When you get a trollish statement like OP's it can be easy to take short cuts when you know better. Cody is right, it's all relative. Scramblers, Trials and Enduro bikes aren't going to win speed contests, but the torque a 1200 gives you over difficult terrain and the adjustability of a scrambler with a good 250 or 450 motor is essential for positioning on take off and landing. Also Enduro's need to be as good a pack horse/mule so you need a strong engine like a 1200. Speed machines like Guy's company bike don't need to be overly torquey but need to rev to hell and back to put out 200+hp and no weight to move and aero to be stable at speed. Most scramblers and enduro rev to between 5 and 8 thousand rpm while racers will peak at 9-10 thousand for production bikes (some will go to 12 thousand rpm) while racers normally peak between 12-14 thousand rpm.
