Steve McQueen made motorcycle rides in "Great Escape", even riding in German uniform on German bike, supposedly chasing himself! But it was Steve's friend, Bud Ekin that made motorcycle jump over fence! Not because Steve couldn't do jump, but for film insurance policy concerns!

David Miatke my comment wasn’t a slight on McQueen... granted, he was (and in many minds, still is) the “most interesting man in the world”. Thanks to social media, the public gets to see a more intimate side to celebrities today. Guy Martin appears to be perpetually upbeat, and seems equally happy talking to a fan, making a tea mug, or tearing around the Isle of Man at 200mph... His celebrity does not appear to have affected his humble nature and passion to learn. I agree, McQueen was more than an actor... he lived the action life he portrayed on screen.

Now days many 13 year old kids could do this jump on an 85 CC motocross bike.. Much respect to Bud Akins for making the Jump on a bike with so much less suspension..
