@@2-bit567 Games are a funny brand of spinoff usually for the fans, so a lot of times they include WhatIfs, Because This Would Be A Cool Fight, and Yeah That Guy Was Too Cool To Die. Not as beholden to plot as gameplay.

it's from a anime called boku no her academia (my hero academia) and the plus ultra is where they go beyond the limits of their power and use it as a catchfraise, and the "you say run" is a soundtrack from the anime which is the one you are listening to in this video

Actually sonic and naruto characters are streamlined when they run (their arms behind their back) because if they ran like normal they wouldn't be running ad fast because there would be too much air resistance at the speed they run and they would have to put more effort into running while might guy on the other hand had so much physical power that him pumping his arms likely literally pushed the air out of his way so there would be no resistance for him and he'd actually propell himself forward at a much faster pace

@@ampocalypsew3883 you do realize it's the same principle as a bike, if you go slow you lose balance versus actually getting speed and aerodynamics will keep you balanced, there are plenty of anime that have animated running properly (one piece) but this was PURPOSELY left out because in naruto they actually run like that to run faster with little effort

If this ever happened in another JUMP Crossover, All Might would be in tears at someone willing to go this far to protect the future, not to mention they'd be guaranteed best friends.

Now for a lesson. I'm pretty sure you've heard these words before but I'm gonna teach you what they really mean. Go beyond! PLUS ULTRA!

Ok, two things. 1) Goddammit does that track from Hero Academia sync up well with that super, and 2) Guy is my favorite character from Naruto, because he's goofy, has that sick Bruce Lee look going on, and can deal massive damage when he wants/hast to. If only Naruto wasn't full of shitty filler, I might have kept up with the series.

Christopher Cruz yeah while the filter is terrible, if you look past it naruto is a truly great series, on another note is shippuden voice acted well enough? I dont mind subs but I prefer a good dub if possible.

Filler is tolerable while a show is in development, but just ends up weakening the series as time goes on because it diverts attention from the main story being told. I prefer no content be made unless it directly moves the main storyline forward. Filler can be done right, which is to say that a filler episode might establish character motivations and traits, but even that should be worked into the main story naturally through character interactions and conflict. Think of it this way: if you went to a restaurant and ordered a meal, would you A) want to get half the meal to start, then receive random stuff you didn't order until the other half is finished (i.e. chef fills time), or B) receive the entire meal in a little bit once it is complete. I like to get the whole meal at once, which is why I don't mind waiting a year for a show to be finished or a new season completed (I'm looking at you David Productions). Naruto, Bleach, etc. will always get shit for filler because, simply put, its bland content that isn't what we ordered. We want to see the story progress, not see a random, unimportant side mission.

They should have had Guy's health / chakra drain out during the last part.

the way Guy looks at Lee is fucking incredible, I sweat the fight scenes in the game were so well animated.

Can we just appreciate the subtle nuances of this quick time event. Maybe it took a song about "Going Beyond" but I'd only just noticed that as well as the R1 being minato supporting, but for anyone who plays the ninja storm games, one triangle charges a decent attack. two triangles charges your ultimate blast. Guys attack was four triangles literally symbolising how far beyond this attack pushed his normal limits. Might seem silly but with this song it really puts tingles up your spine thinking about it XD
