    We do hand tab miters, Id imagine that it wouldnt work very well for that. I can see this being cool for strips!

    All i do is hand tabs. Why do you say it wouldn't work well?

    @Tyson Yoder I guess you just cut you miters then hand cut tabs? also, do you double check you miter guage on the saw occasinally to ensure accuracy in the cut?

    @Shawn Horn ya I cut the tab. I make sure the back and bottom of the gutter is good with the saw. As long as those are good the cuts are accurate.

    just bought ironman and 14 ft trailer when i mount to trailer how much room should i leave between door and machine so i can build that setup?

    I would allow probably 6" from the shear to the door when closed.

    @@austinhedgeman4192 Yes you will want a Double Compound 12" miter saw to cut 6".

    If you have a saw setup definitely. I used strip miters for about 15 years and used a hacksaw to cut them.

    Wow. Thanks for getting back to me. I'm new to the industry and starting my own business. Just trying to figure everything out. What are your thoughts on strip miters versus hand cut? Strip just seems like it would be so much faster and easier.

    @@IRAfallon strip miters are a little bit faster but tabbed miters look neater if done correctly. I charge per miter, plus it's one less thing I have to worry about stocking.

    Man I keep coming back to this video! I'm supposed to get my machine in 2 weeks and keep debating on installing a saw or not. Thoughts? Also I would love to see a quick vid on the details of you setup. I have a welder and could probably knock that out pretty quick, but I'm just not sure how you make the saw adjustable. Really appreciate your time. Thanks.

    gutterrunner.ca sell a setup but they want like 3000 for it. I just stick with snips i can do so fast. Infact I don't even buy machines with a guillotine anymore.

    Not trying to be that guy but if you have a huge ass house with a lot of corners I’d say wear a mask that aluminum can be killer in the long term on the lungs
