What a fabulous team WI was those days. They simply outclassed all their opponents at will & ease. They had a greatly balanced side that took on the best & ultimately emerged triumphant, what a invincible aura of WI team. That's typical Calypso cricket.

Dujon not to compared with any other wicket keeper, he is always unique forever

Two of the most elegant cricketers to look at - Jeff Dujon and Michael Holding. These men carried themselves like true gentlemen and were quite dapper and elegant especially on the field.

Dujon remains grossly underrated. One of the best batsmen Ive ever seen but was always left to make quick runs as the top 5 almost always delivered. He had most keeping/ batting test and ODI records before Gilchrist showed up.

True, he was a very good batsman indeed; classical.

Gilchrist of his time. Main factor on why WI had very few losses in those days. As even when their top and middle order fails (rarely) he would come and rescue the, then fast bowlers do the rest same roll Gilchrist payed for Australia making them invincible.

These two got Windies out of trouble plenty of times . Forget their averages. They performed when it mattered for the team

Dujon was not just a keeper on the Jamaican team which at the time was better than the current WI team he batted at 3.

Dujon belted the Indian spinners in India. He must have relished batting in this game.

I think it's the year before that: Kim Hughes was still captain and Rod Marsh was only just retiring.
