    Latrell has been protected all his career. Anyone who called out his behaviour was called racist. Now these people that have protected him, are starting to get sick of the fact that the guy who’s faced no repercussions hasn’t learned his lesson.

    Latrell has been the same ever since he played in the lower grades. He used to constantly bully the smaller guys, use his forearms, knees, etc and it’s all on the internet to watch. Robbo was starting to discipline him at the roosters hence the massive fallout. Wayne had him under control with his fitness and a good life/footy balance but JD has just let him do whatever he wants and their downfalls shows it. He also persuaded JD to get his best mate Jack Wighton there when they should have went to the market to find a few front rowers. Jacks a world class player but he needs the #6 jersey. They literally have no speed on the edges. Trell should have been shifted to the centres and kept Blake Taaffe to play fullback. Tbh i’d love to see the Broncos sign Ilias for the 2026 season post Reynolds era, he’s got a lot of potential under a good coach and supportive team. They’ve blamed him for everything over the past 6 months when in fact it’s Cody and Trell not pulling their weight with a sub par forward pack giving him nothing to work with.

    @@zaneplatt3533spot on mate, he was playing amazing footy at the roosters but robbo was starting to clamp down on him so it didn’t become a long term issue. Arguably Latrell also cost them the 2021 premiership with his suspension, it was a such a tight game and he was in career best form, fit and motivated under Wayne back then.

    Only 64 games in four seasons for Souths,a month off already this year. Regathers from opposition kicks and throws thirty metre passes in front of the goal mouth to a much smaller,and less talented teammate. Lazy in defence,then pretends he’s upset when scored against. • @troystaunton254

    @troystaunton254

    Exactly. You don’t have to have played to recognise good play from bad play. A physical ability to play isn’t the same as a mental one. Terry lam, Wally Lewis and Allan langer are some of the greatest players ever, they can’t coach because the mental side isn’t there. Trent Robinson and Craig Bellamy were absolutely trash players, they’re excellent coaches. If the defining characteristics of a valid opinion is that you have to have played, than by default Cameron smith is the only man with a correct opinion because no one played more than him.

    Like a lot of people who played A grade rugby league, there were plenty of people I played with who had the talent to play first grade. Very, very few did. It all come down to commitment and sacrifice to be the fittest and be willing to go the extra yard. If you didn’t that was fine, you enjoyed playing A grade and hopefully ended your time with a premiership. Many didn’t, but kept on playing nonetheless. Latrell Mitchell to me, is a talented A grader now, if he still loves playing the game, go back to playing park football cause he is no longer a first grade footballer. Sad but true.

If he keeps this up he’ll be gone quicker than you think

    The Latrell cheer squad keeps singing his praises. He is actually not a consistent match winner and never has been. He is vastly over-rated. You cannot compare his performances under pressure to someone like a Cleary or a Tedesco or an Edwards etc. Players like Mitchell do not understand that they are employees - they think they are business owners. Well, if you have the courage of your convictions leave NRL, convince people to fund a new system of football in which you can elbow people in face and get paid for it.

And it's not like that's the only glaring issue- dropping Illias, KK moved to the other side then there's the madness of letting Taffie go after never giving him a shot at 7 when he played that position in the juniors..
