The new Double Decker Viaduct & metro line between Gurugram and Faridabad is a state-of-the-art rapid transit system that connects two major cities in the National Capital Region of India. 12 stations will be built on the route. From Faridabad, these will be: Bata Chowk, Pyali Chowk, Shaheed Bhagat Singh Marg, Barkhal Enclave, Pali Chowk, Police Chowki Mangar.
In Gurugram area, metro stations will be built at Gwal Pahari, Sector-56, Sushant Lok, Sushant Lok- Phase III, Rosewood City and Vatika Chowk.
Haryana chief secretary Sanjeev Kaushal on Friday said Haryana Mass Rapid Transport Corporation Limited (HMRTC) is currently considering a Metro link between Faridabad and Gurugram via a “double decker viaduct” in arrangement with the National Highways Authority of India (NHAI)
The new metro line is expected to significantly reduce travel time between Gurugram and Faridabad, with a journey time of approximately one hour. Additionally, the metro line is expected to provide a boost to the local economy by facilitating faster and more efficient movement of people and goods between the two cities.
Overall, the new double-decker viaduct & metro line between Gurugram and Faridabad is a major infrastructure development that is expected to improve connectivity and mobility in the National Capital Region of India.
