Nice to see Penang is moving ahead for its first world economic developments. But landfill and proclaimation needed to study the affect of its surrounding biological marine ecosystem, and the ocean flows.

Im so happy to see Penang have a nice well develop city! I hope Seremban can catch up like Penang one day since Seremban also a part of greater KL...

Looks top notch. Hopefully the economy of the average Malaysian will increase enough to that of completion, the buildings won't stand empty. I would love to move here and boost the economy, but sadly, not working for an international company, it's kinda hard to move ones business... Malaysia is quite amazing though. Thanks SCM. There will not be any highrise at Gurney Whaft (the one right next to Gurney Drive). Adaman Island is another reclaimed island

Now sea wall cost 13 million here the news:GEORGE TOWN-The Penang Island City Council (MBPP) has defended the design of its newly-built seawall at the Penang Esplanade here, part of which was temporarily closed three days after the unveiling of the RM13 million project due to high tide. If the islands sinks anything damage just (rebuild)but needs sea wall for more safety.

Tunnel under sea bed mana nak nampak bukan atas laut di bawah dasar laut sekurang 40 metrs ke bawah jangan hairan dlm 10 tahun lagi siap lh tu tunggu guan eng masok dlm dulu kerna sakau duit commission awal sebelum tunnel siap. Hi hi.

Some like inner Georgetown cant simply be demolish it was under Unesco status it is main attraction for tourist when they visited penang.

Having a land in Penang is like having a gold mine... per sq foot now most area the lowest you can get if not mistaken is about RM800/ to RM900/ .. years back reclaimed land cost RM600/ per sq ft...

Bukan ada ketulan perak pun hanye pasir laut perak x rugi2 pun laut akn jadi dalam jadi ikan akn banyak mcm kt pulau sembilan ikan cukup banyak.

Apa benda lah tambak pulau, habis rosak pantai, terumbu karang. Elok2 boleh nelayan tangkap hasil dah habis punah alam sekitar.
