I adore this film - a South Jersey girl who’s loved Bruce since the ’70s, seen him and the fabulous E Street Band 4 times in the ’70s-’80s, totally enamored of his lyrics. Blinded By The Light is a must-see-and-hear story of the universality and importance of poetry and music, the best kind of fan/love letter to an artist that could be wished for. We are all really not very different, the world over. Right after I saw the film (an hour ago), I used this month’s Audible credit and got Sarfraz’s memoir, which I’ll be listening to while knitting lace British/American style, using my Russian-American Bubbe’s and Aunt’s knitting accessories. The World needs this film.
