No one talks about Gujrat model anymore and as far as his prime Minister ship is concerned, the result is in front of you. He is very popular and so is Salman khan. All the media outlets in our country (India) have been compromised. The small scale investigation by local grass roots NGOs are the only way we know anything. The farmers protest one of biggest protest ever in the world has been shut down completely. This country is not going to survive, that is exactly what is the modi government wants. They are the political wing of a radical extremists reglious group they were the ones who shot Gandhi. They dont want or like this country, they want to destroy it and make another one as they see fit. One opposite from the ideals of Gandhi and our freedom fighters.

Ok kid go to bed now And study some facts. Modi Policies are helping poor needy people thats why they elected him again. Modi is not a person who just subsidy for soon. He is giving access to everything which makes poor people life easier, toilets, gas, electricity, internet, bank accounts. These necessities were not available to more than 50% population Now 90%+ work completion in every fields He is trying very hard to bring investment. He is focusing of those psu which can be beneficial for exporting and earning money like space programs and defense equipment. He did increased funding for these research and development psu He is cleaning all congress mess.

Yea a man--who led P&G--that had studied at top universities and written a huge amount of books have no idea. Right? He made those arguments because they were facts. Demonetization was a huge blunder and it couldn't be proved otherwise, so it was better for him to state it first--a diplomatic person would always do that and then present his arguments.

Anyways demonetization was not aimed at stopping the generation of black money but to put the horded money back into the economy for circulation - which happened to a larger degree... 100% success of any scheme happens only in movies - not in real life... The selfish extremists lost the most when demonetization happened and therefore they actively started spreading the propaganda of its downsides and concluded it as a failure... Some half educated gullible Indians took the bait and have become victim of their propaganda... Please don't join them, please stay sharp and be aware of such cunning wolves....

Mr Das should have mentioned that The Supreme Court Of India did not find Mr Modi guilty in the Gujarat riots. He was the Chief Minister for a few months when the riots happened. They started because 58 Hindu who were returning from a pilgrimage to Ayodhya in a train, were burnt alive by Muslims. For this 32 Muslims were convicted. The Hindus thus attacked the Muslim areas in Gujrat and 790 Muslims and 254 Hindus were killed in the riots. No one mentioned that Mr. Modi asked the Central Government for help within 24 hrs after the riots began. He also asked the 2 neighboring States for help which they refused. Both these States were governed by Congress.

Has any court in India found any leader from Congress guilty of corruption in 2G Scam Commonwealth games scam? Did anyone go behind bars for the Bhopal Gas tragedy - one of the biggest industrial disasters in the world. Or the 1984 anti-Sikh riots, has justice been served there. Justice system in india is as lame as any other organ of polity. Modi won't be exonerated in people's opinion.

The 2019 elections are claimed to be on similar lines though, I.e. presidential election, for people voted not of the person representing a constituency rather they voted for Modi in general

It is personally a success story for me but all elites would deny it endlessly... He called it a blunder - don't know how much he lost in that... On the contrary, they do seem to have quite a bit to say. And a lot of it also makes sense even to someone living in India, like me. Want to debate Brexit at Delhi University? I don't think the British will object. You can even debate racism in the UK, loud and clear, sitting inside a British University. Or in an Indian university if you want to. Try debating Hindutva at a Indian University, and you will see mobs at the gate. Say what you may, the freedoms to debate and discuss, criticize, mock power, all are alive in the UK. India is not yet there, and I am not sure it will ever reach that level of freedom. Snooty, maybe yes. But better than ignorant, which is usually what you get here, even in the best places.

Where does mr guru charan das live? Has he ever been stayed in india for more than 5 years? Has he ever spent a day with the children and wife of a daily wages labourer of india? People debating here should first know the life of a common poor indian then they will know that what a big fools they are?

That's a stupid argument. Were all the poor daily wage labourers born in the last 5 years? Archaeologists don't need to have lived in the ancient world to know what they lived like as long as they can gather enough objective evidence. It is more likely that people living in those times would have given a more absurd account of whatever they were going through like all the myths and religious scriptures which make no sense.

Honestly, this was the thinking when we supported Modi last year.. more or less it still persists.. Congress should promote a better candidate hopefully. Many of us want change but whom to choose as alternatives must make us optimistic about something at least.

These people think they’re educated. I feel like these are misinformed people blinded by their academic background which makes then feel that their opinion is a true representation of the the reality. There is no clarification as to what Hinduism, for instance by simply exploring the etymology of the word Hindu one is able to understand that it does not refer to a religion but rather a demographic denomination for the people of the indian subcontinent. Hindutva stands for the same. While some speak about Modi being an anti-muslim, how many people actually have watch reports of millions of muslim voters who fully back modi? Why do they so? Because they’ve been paid for it? That is madness... they do so because they believe in his ability to deliver a better and more prosperous India. I do not disagree when they say hate crime against muslims is happening. But it also goes the other way around against Sanathanis (what you call a Hindu). While these sort of crimes occur I do not agree with the fact that you should make Modi accountable for it. In this debate Mr Das describes Modi as an authoritarian PM. If anything he has been the least authoritarian PM in the history of India. He works with everyone around him and his well informed and guided by a number of experts and members of the cabinet. Authoritarian leaders do jot listen to anyone’s opinions just FYI. Anyway that’s just my opinion and Im glad 63% of india feels the same way.

Total vote percentage in 2019: 67% NDA: 50% vote share BJP: 42% without alies Eligible Voters: roughly 800 million And no party in the History of Independence India or Leader able to touch those magic figure of 50% Who are young and not eligible... Their parents has a say.... Those who didn't vote they don't have any say... :) So if you add up those number 65% roughly give and take voted modi.

@@NileshKumar-nr2vj I will tell you one important thing you go in a debate with facts and figures and quote from where you have taken this information from and how did you reach to this conclusion which he missed completely. i am also the guy mentioned by gurcharan das in between who neither is pro modi or pro something else . but thinking of ideal solutions is utopia . We have a huge diversity in everything . I challenge anyone to just try to change few people mind in a room based on your opinion . i can definitely say you will get a headache . And this is a countty where we have to cater to billions of people with different sentiments. Changing something which was broken from day 1 will need immense effort and your whole blood and soul . Just ranting and crying about consequences and effects will not lead us anywhere . Why dont they act like real opposition and try to work with the government and counter their wor rather than just do dharna and walkouts from assembly. this is a difficult task but that is what he has to do . if he is there for the right reason then he is there for the people as their servant . he should make sure that whatever government made policies he counters when he sees they are not being propagated properly. We need solutions we need options not gandhi vs modi. And definitely not pure communist pure ideology But prashant bhushan ji to his last week in AAP praised them in his given interviews about the righteousness and ideology in AAP then when he was expelled he started ranting about them...he couldnt change kejriwal's mind if we was so righteous and there were things going wrong in AAP as he mentioned in his interviews after being expelled. They claimed before that party didnt take any money from any dubious company later on showed proofs when expelled. So i don't trust him either. As an option givei would prefer to go with modi in that case than go with mahagathbandhan or rahul because i believe he can do things which others cant. You want facts on that then there links and links on that i can show. And believe me time will only tell and we people need to ask our prime minister where is what we deserved . I preferably will post 1000's of post to our prime minster than waste my time in oxford and with biased news channels.

@Suhas... It seem like you hate Prashant more than having a poor opinion of his debating skills. If you are reading newspapers everyday you would know everything he has said, you don't have to put out facts for learned people that employment gas risen to 6.1% in democracy index in just 5 years we have fallen to 41st rank from 28th. You don't have to neccesi do that in a few minutes debate. We all know why institutions are in danger, what is up with courts, CBI and Election Commission. We know all of that. So when you said you were going to explain to me I was really hoping you would pick up a sentence of Bhushan and tell me factually why it is wrong and reasonably why it doesn't make sense. But you rather started attacking on his intentions and without any reasons you believe Modi is better. Friend this is not called a logical conclusion. Bhushan talked about economic slowdown, demonetisation we all know as a fact that how much harm is done to the country because of this. Does he needs to quote every single BJP MP including Modi's quote how they are sponsoring unscientific things under the veil of Hindutv and that on the govt platform???? I hope you are aware of all of it. It is also a fact. Now the other guy whom you are praising. I agree to him a little bit because you to make a choice between worst of leaders, given Gandhi and Modi. But I will still kick out Modi and vote for any local MP of mine, not necessarily for Rahul but of any regional party. I can give reasons why but it will be a long post. The man you are praising has hardly given any facts to prove his point, he just concluded that he believes despite being bad he would choose Modi over Rahul...
