Gunwharf Quays is a shopping centre located in Portsmouth, UK. It was constructed in the early 21st century on the site of what had once been HM Gunwharf, Portsmouth. This was one of several such facilities which were established around Britain and the Empire by the Board of Ordnance, where cannons, ammunition and other armaments were stored, repaired and serviced ready for use on land or at sea. Later known as HMS Vernon, the military site closed in 1995, and opened to the public as Gunwharf Quays after six years of reconstruction (which included the restoration of some of the surviving 18th and 19th-century Gun Wharf buildings). The landmark Spinnaker Tower, which also stands on the site, was opened a few years later.

came from Belgium in may 2019 for a week enjoyed my stay and will surely be back very soon i bought several things in the quays Bose, Asics i love Portsmouth reel nice place!!
I was born there and it's my home. We moved to fleet not that long ago, and damn I miss this place. Luckily my dad lives there with my older sister so we go there every other weekend! 😭😁 I miss going there during the night! It's so pretty! The spinaccar changes colours!
Moving here after lockdown and know nothing about the city. This video makes it look lovely. A nice mix of old and modern and great shopping

I love Gunwharf. Both my children went to Portsmouth Uni which is when I first discovered it back in the noughties. I went there last year on a coach day trip for the first time in many years but I spent far too much money in those lovely shops although I got some great bargains. I will come back when I have saved up a bit more.

@@Jasmine8496 I'm posh as fuck, my road is called Spinnaker Drive. I live right next to the start of the ocean, there's even a palm tree out my window. Beautiful views from left to right. And if you walk 60 seconds you can see spinnaker tower

I actually live in the apartments at Gunwharf, but had not seen what it looked like before Covid
