if it's going to be the only gun in my loadout, having laser-sight gave me a good chance to fight up close. I just cant use the iron-sights on it, and just overall liked the acog for a scope. went 48 - 3 on hijacked with it.

Back when Treyarch went full throttle to deliver an amazing and content packed 6v6 multiplayer experience.. Seems like they no longer care considering how little content we get for 6v6 in terms of maps, modes and guns.

Battlepass ruined everything if you think about it. Now they give us half the game at launch and then slowly release the "free content" over the course of the year. Oh ya, and dont forget that you have to pay 10 bucks every couple of months just to have some incentive to play the game since they took out the prestige system.

You literally have to buy the battle pass to get new guns, like WTF?!?

Back then every gun was unique and had its place. Now half of the guns are broken and the other half are useless. Love your content bro. The most enjoyable youtuber for me.

So glad I played this game during it’s prime. Damn good times.

I ditched the newer Cod games ,I still play BO1,MW3,BO2 2021.

What made this really amazing and memorable game was that there was a purpose for each gun that stood out from others in its class

And thats another thing I hate about the new cods. You have 3-4 meta weapons and everyone is abusing it. In bo2 I was running around with a pistol or with the worst attachments and could have a decent and fun game because it was balanced but in like cold war everyone uses the ak74u, a dmr, a stoner sometimes u see an xm4 or mp5 but nothing else. Imagine running around in this game with only 1911....

@@jwr6 couldn’t agree more. Guns back then had a 2 attachment limit and you had no choice but to use a wild card if you wanted a 3rd. No more than 3 attachments, mostly every gun could compete with each other even without a single attachment. They had their purposes for certain types of players with specific preferences. Ever since MW’s introduction of the gunsmith devs have simply forgotten how to make guns balanced. The metas MW, CW, and Warzone have are ducking ridiculous. One reason why it can be a shit show at times is how we can put 5 fucking attachments on a gun by default and CW has a wild card that allows us to put 8 attachments on a gun. Not 6, 8 attachments. Gunsmith is honestly another implementation that’s just as bad as SBMM and I wish it was criticized as SBMM is. It’s cool we get to deck out our guns, it’s not fun when broken weapons with hardly any attachments shut down fully decked out guns (don’t get me started on the slow weapon progress) and a broken gun with 5 or max attachments already has a very high chance of shutting down other weapons even if they have 5 or max attachments too. Stupid implementations like MW’s mounting made bipods absolutely irrelevant too. I’d go back in time and tell myself to play the living shit out of BO2 because that was truly the last gold CoD.

Mw2 was a close second for sure then id say Bo1

The SMR was slept on, it had a good fire cap, always 2 shots to kill and its abysmal iron sight could be replaced with a fitting Acog sight or a red dot based on preference.

This is the first cod that I ever bought, back when lobbies were full I’d slay everybody in hardcore with the smr.

Hardcore eventually became my go to mode, usually in Hardcore every gun is fair play because of the damage. It mostly comes down to skill. I can totoslly see the SMR being great on HC.

I saw the notification, read the title and thought "its the chicom" swiped to the thumbnail and was like "yep, its the chicom".

The QBB lsw was one of my favorites. Always ran laser sight and stock, maybe quickdraw. The hip fire accuracy when prone was ridiculous and the gun had one of the best ttks up close.

I always used to put perks on that let you move quicker then use it sort of like an AR. Especially on ground war, you could put flak jacket and tac mask on and sit near the objectives and pick people off pretty easily aswell as going in there spawns such a fun gun to use

Anyone remember the Swat-556. That gun was dog, but the reload animation was so satisfying.

I loved using the chicom on grind. Such a fun gun. Also, when me and my friends used to play ground war we would get loads of lads from school on and I would always use the QBB. It’s an underrated gun and if you put perks on to make you move faster you could use it as a slower AR with the fast fire rate.

I didn’t see a lot of the Swat but I Personally loved that gun

man the chicom full auto + extended mags was my go to. i really miss playing this game

I honestly loved the SMR, when your aim is good its an amazing gun

This Call of Duty had the best guns. They all had a purpose.

Funny thing with the smr in multiplayer is that at close range it's one of the most powerful guns in the game. It beats the fal osw in some regards so its weird how little it's used

there was a time when Chicom CQB was my go-to gun and the only gun i could play constitently good with... when im having a bad match with other guns, i would switch to Chicom and build up a streak... it was a really good gun, just underused because most players can only shoot full auto 🤷‍♂️

Smr with select fire was so nice itwas my favorite assaut rifle in bo2 and I even used it in the league play some times no problem. Before Smr though it was the fal with select fire before it was nerfred.

I never used the, QBB. The executioner. SMR.(awful) even with select fire. But I did used a lot of chicom with select fire or not back then.

I remember someone saying that the lesser used weapons in CoD were filler for sake of progression to the better weapons, or to fill a quota or possibly to make the progression feel longer and more rewarding

The funniest thing is the guns you showcased could still compete with the better guns. BO2 had issues but it was still a golden CoD and is considered the peak of CoD’s MP. The LSW wasn’t bad at all, most people went with the HAMR for the little extra bit of of accuracy but the LSW could still compete with it. Executioner’s only issue was the ammo capacity, other than that it was fine in close quarters and was better with an extended barrel. The SMR was pretty nice too, it dealt more damage than the FAL but I preferred the FAL because of its control. I still used the SMR every now and then. I could’ve sworn a decent amount of people used the Chicom, that shit with rapid fire was fucking amazing and I honestly preferred using the Chicom over the Skorpion because the burst fire was just as nasty. With these recent CoDs it looks like devs forgot how to make balanced weapons and the introduction of gunsmith only made it harder for themselves.

The Chicom was not slept on, it was neglected for the combat-heavy AR meta (Scorpion/MSMC as outliers) so people didnt expect to have the chicom be viable at medium range so long as you have a good trigger finger. As per close range, you just had to be good at rushing and map awareness

The CHICOM is dumb underrated, even though it's burst fire the fire rate is so fast that you can be super aggressive with it.

I did not play CoD BO2 online because we couldn't connect me and my brother our PS3 to the internet net so I only played the singleplayer campaign or Multiplayer against bots or Zombies

SMR was my highest kd gun. Surprised me, I thought it'd be AN 94, MSMC or Skorpion.

MW2 Riot shield Rpgs Throwing knife Cuncussion Scavenger Preferred lightweight but okay with dangerclose Cammando Pred missile, Attack heli, nuke. Tip: if you ‘aim down’ with the riot shield it covers your feet better. Goodluck.

Also and I don’t think I have to tell you this but I will for the sake of others, if you wait for someone on your team to get a multikill you can more easily get a multkill with the pred missile off their spawn.

I played so much bo2 that I went through phases of playing with and loving almost every gun. Some of these suck though!

I personally barely used the SWAT-556 and the Type 25 on top of the QBB, CQB, and SMR.
