I was about 10 when GnR became widely known (I wasn’t growing up in USA). I do remember this performance. It was Freddy Mercury memorial concert. I was 8th grade. Remember to this day. They were one of the biggest stars of the concert. Kids, this is the music we used to listen to when we were children and teenagers😅. Real music. Listen and learn.

The power of a band! Yes! All members together!

Just my opinion, but i think this is better than the original version! Axel just nails it!

GN'R at the height of their powers. They were so good during this time. God it would be amazing to have that version of the band to have unreleased music in the archives somewhere. They were so creative and far ahead of other rock bands at the time (besides maybe Metallica).

A lot of people don't realize that Axl had a vocal range of 5 octaves and 5 semitones F1 - Bb6. This is insane compared to almost every other singer on the planet, more than Whitney, Tina, Mariah, Freddy. and so on, so in my opinion, Axl was the very best front man ever. I saw gnr multiple times, but one of the best and clearest vocals was back around 2003 I may be wrong with the year, but it was during the first Chinese Democracy tour. I am a professional drummer with 54 yrs experience I started at age 4. and I still hear his voice from that show in my head, it was an unimaginable display of talent. And I have seen so many concerts since 1977. All the big bands in the prime of there existence. Axl..... you are from another planet, I hold you in the highest regard
