I’m just curious, if there anybody like me who listens to Guns n’ Roses ever single day, dreams and wishes he was young again so he could go to more of their concerts in their prime? I have only two wishes in this world: 1) I wish my brother were still alive 2) I wish it were 1987 again so I could travel the world and see every single GnR show possible. They were more than a band, they were an attitude, a lifestyle that I try to embrace everyday still. GnFR FOREVER !!!!

[Intro] Sick of this life, not that you'd care I'm not the only one with whom, these feelings, I share Nobody understands quite why we're here We're searching for answers that never appear Maybe if I looked real hard, I'd, I'd see you trying, too To understand this life that we're all going through "Then when she said she was going to, like, wreck my car I didn't know what to do" [Chorus] Oh, sometimes, I feel like I'm beating a dead horse And I don't know why you'd be bringing me down I'd like to think that our love's worth a tad more It may sound funny, but you'd think, by now, I'd be smiling I guess some things never change Oh, never change [Verse] I met an old cowboy, I saw the look in his eyes Something tells me he's been here before 'cause experience makes you wise I was only a small child when the thought first came to me That I'm a son of a gun and the gun of a son that brought back the devil in me [Chorus] Oh, but sometimes, I feel like I'm beating a dead horse I don't know why you'd be bringing me down I'd like to think that our love's worth a tad more It may sound funny, but you'd think, by now, I'd be smiling Yeah, I guess some things never change Ooh, never change

I was 15 headed to 16 in 1987. Myself, best friend, Brandy Sifuentes and her dude, Rex..we drove around in his 78(?)camera. Blue with white top, round tail lights...we blasted Appetite, then, Illusion, Coma...and 1 other metal band(blasted kill em all)back to back for HOURS and HOURS and HOURS...it was '87 in Wichita Falls..and HOURS..Didnt say much, couldnt have heard anything regardless but we traveled this towns highways in a loop, LIVING this music, BREATHING this music, it defined us. Those years, 87-90 were game changers. I dont KNOW how anyone else sees it but i saw it clearly then and more so lookin back. Times changed. Truly changed. My generation saw things pass that will nvr be again..and we witnessed the coming of such bigger changes. I saw them coming when i was very young and Axl, Slash and those guys they were up front blasting songs like this thru the changes the world came thru...and as everyone knows the music is still just as badass now as it was new back then. Just as Elvis, or The Beatles signified times changing..Axl is 1 of our Rock Gods that heralded epic change in our lifetimes..i see this less and less. I feel we are seeing far fewer legends in Rock n Roll.

this was the first band that moved my musical imagination when I was 12 or 13 years old, I met it on a VHS release by a friend who was a few years older, he was a collector and I got hooked on this song and said it would be my favorite and it was, this band beat its era the numbers speak for themselves, nobody was capable of this kind of music and they haven't written anything like it since, the biggest disappointment was the breakup of the band, because they could have done even more than that, it is well known that emotional and psychological development is completed over the age of 30 and they already they created world-class music at a very young age, this is the strongest band of the generation, not only because it's my favorite because there are a million of them for me, but Guns n Roses is only one and it's eternal

I get it. I am nineteen. But i have experienced more than i should have. Hell, when i was a kid, i spoke to a child psychologist and they started crying at my life story. I was abused, sexually, physically, and psychologically for eleven years. Am the sole witness to my mothers rape, and have attempted suicide more times than i can count. Finally got out at eighteen, immediately got into a shit relationship. I was bullied all through school. And somehow. I get outta bed with a smile on my face and a fuck you in my middle finger. You begin to realise there is fuck all meaning to life, and we exist just to exist. But thay doesn't mean that we are pointless. We create our own meanings to life. The meaning i give myself is to help others find happiness. Even if its at my own expense. I feel good about my life. But i would leave it all if i could. No wonder i am a musician. 😅

"Dead Horse" Sick of this life Not that you'd care I'm not the only one with whom these feelings I share Nobody understands, quite why we're here We're searchin' for answers That never appear But maybe if I looked real hard I'd I'd see your tryin' too To understand this life, That we're all goin' through (Then when she said she was gonna like wreck my car... I didn't know what to do) Sometimes I feel like I'm beatin' a dead horse An I don't know why you'd be bringin' me down I'd like to think that our love's worth a tad more It may sound funny but you'd think by now I'd be smilin' I guess some things never change Never change I met an old cowboy I saw the look in his eyes Somethin' tells me he's been here before 'Cause experience makes you wise I was only a small child When the thought first came to me That I'm a son of a gun and the gun of a son That brought back the devil in me Sometimes I feel like I'm beatin' a dead horse An I don't know why you'd be bringin' me down I'd like to think that our love's worth a tad more It may sound funny but you'd think by now I'd be smilin' I guess some things never change Never change I ain't quite what you'd call an old soul Still wet behind the ears I been around this track a couple o' times But now the dust is startin' to clear Oh yeah!!! Sometimes I feel like I'm beatin' a dead horse An I don't know why you'd be bringin' me down I'd like to think that our love's worth a tad more It may sound funny but you'd think by now I'd be smilin' Ooh yeah, I'd be smilin' No way I'd be smilin' Ooh smilin'

I was just thinking about this. My father knew I was a huge fan and went to get me copies of both albums. He told me they were the 3rd ones out of the 1st case the store opened. Bragging rights for weeks.

Many have criticized Axl but man, what a front-man and what a composer ! And Slash is still one of the hardest guitar player to cover ! What a band ! Miss them so much. They need to make a record with the original members. Would love your views on our last song. Return from people liking the same music is always great. stay safe in the meantime : kzread.info/dash/bejne/m2WauLSQZt2Znpc.html
