Gulf State Park has two miles of beaches, a spacious campground and a brand new Lodge to greet you. Yes, we have gorgeous white sand, surging surf, seagulls and a variety of activities, but there is more than sand and surf to sink your toes into.
Gulf State Park is a destination you’re destined to visit over and over again. It’s the only way to enjoy all we have to offer. Just when you’re done hiking, it’s time to go biking. Tired of swimming and paddling in the Gulf? Swim and paddle in Lake Shelby. And if camping under the stars isn’t your thing, take advantage of our indoor lodging amenities. Discover the Park's incredible biodiversity at our Nature Center and take part in one of the educational programs offered daily by our Naturalists. Boredom is about the only thing you won’t find here.
RECREATION
There is something for everyone inside Gulf State Park. The beach pavilion provides picnic tables as an escape from the beach, the nature center is a great place for the kids to learn, the swimming pool provides refreshment for our guests and the Lake Shelby day use area offers kayaking and canoeing. For a change of pace while visiting check out the fishing and education pier, miles of biking on the Backcountry trail, beautiful flowers in the butterfly garden, and additional education at the learning campus, interpretive center in the near future.
Gulf State Park has a multitude of activities to participate in that includes: Hiking. biking, fishing, exploring, geocaching, paddling just to name of few. We even provide beach vendors for things like parasailing and kayaking.

Great video! We actually live in Alabama and come to Gulf State Park twice a year. It’s about a 4 hour drive… so worth it. We LOVE this park!

How do I get a sight?
I am so grateful for you 2 lovebirds!!!! I am going here on a singles retreat 4 Memorial Day Weekend. Sharon, he is a keeper!!! How did you meet??? I love how you went to the Butterfly House/Garden/NOT!!! but had a positive attitude!!! If you are nearby, go to Callaway Gardens in Georgia for butterfly house with lots and lots year round. You two are great!!!! Dwight and Sharon keep it up!!! I do not want an RV but you two made me reconsider...for the right spouse!!!

This is a great place. I like all the bike trails there. I would definitely stay there if I'm in the area. I have my bike with me always. Would be a great to ride. Thanks for sharing 👍

I used ARVIE and used their SOLD OUT SEARCH function. I have been able to get 2 separate bookings already with them in Sold Out Gulf State Park...once in Feb and now again for April. If you use my link they will also give you a 10% discount on membership. specialoffer.arvie.com/sam/?via=youtube1
Will be here with a rally group of tiny trailers the end of March. Our stiles were arranged by the rally host But I would like to know how to book for later camping on our own please. Love your videos!
