We use to go Desoto all the time, but the new sodium vapor lights stay on all night. We couldn't sleep. No star gazing here

I lived in Florida and Georgia and was a park ranger in Florida. Yes Florida parks are beautiful indeed, but Oak Mountain State Park in Alabama is better than majority of the ones I visit and worked in Florida. Alabama National Parks best Florida National Parks.
