Roman uses or did use at the time Line 6 Helix into a Fender Super Lead 100 and Coffee cabinets. Eugene uses or did use at the time a Line 6 Helix into a Markbass amp into a Coffee cab. They split the bass signal live so that part of the transient portion of his signal goes through an ENGL amp sim on the Helix and the other half goes to FOH and they pan the ENGL amp sim part hard opposite of Roman's signal. They started doing this after the original guitarist and founder of the band Dmitry Oksen left the band to create an illusion of a second guitarist on stage. Roman is playing as you've seen OD guitars and Eugene is playing a custom bass made by Stas Pokotylo. He also plays Monarch basses, a Fender JB he bought last year and years ago a Warwick Corvette. He has his own models with Overload now.

Also I should note that Roman has played a matte purple Jackson thing that kinda looks like Misha Mansoor's model (and may be?) for the past year or two live and he recorded quite a lot of his parts over the past decade or more with a black Dean Cadillac

Roman is playing a custom OD guitar. Very small independent luthier from Israel named Omer Deutsch. Brilliant guitar maker. Eugene is playing a custom made bass from Overload.

i _think_ Omer is the guy who use to work at Overload .... this is the one he made for him after going independent. his actual Overload is the Signature Achilles 5 (which is prominently featured in the video for Vortex). sorry, i think i may be being bringing a little of the 'tism 😅 (i.e., wasn't trying to be argumentative)

@Double_J_48629 It's ok. You don't seem argumentative. The Achilles is Eugene's signature bass made by Overload guitars. They are a company out of Italy. Omer Deutsch is the owner and luthier of OD guitars in Israel. He has actually made 2 signature guitars for Roman. He has also made custom guitars for Columbus Conley. A guitarist for the deathcore band Divisive out of Nashville, TN. Before that, Omer was an engineering student. As you would say, I also am not trying to be argumentative. It's just that I've been (Facebook) friends with Omer a long period of time, and he has personally told me that he would never make a bass guitar. I don't know much about Overload guitars aside from the fact that they're Italian, and Omer never worked there. Lol. I've also kept up with Jinjer since their Sit Stay Roll Over video was first released on H.C.W.W. Long before they were signed to Dez Fafara's Napalm record label. And please pardon me if I'm sounding like a jerk. That is not my intention in the least. Just stating the facts as I know them.

if I am not mistaken Stas Pokotylo is the one that worked for Fodera and also is who made the bass Eugene is playing in this video

Nowadays, Roman plays a purple Jackson because his OD guitars are priceless. I think they started doing this after someone boosted Vlad's yellow snare on one of their tours. Here, Roman is playing his signature 27" OD baritone tuned to drop A. He also has a multi-scale 25.5-27" OD Venus also tuned to drop A and a 25.5" OD Rhea tuned to drop C. hello! A little bit late but what can you do lol I am also an opeth fan, my favorite band, and I love jinjer as well. They have stated several times Opeth is a big influence, and I believe it is Eugene´s (bassist) favorite. He always posts covers on his instagram :) awsome stuff all over. hard to tell from this lighting , but i believe Roman is playing his Venus from OD Guitars . and i think that Eugene is sporting his custom rig from some independent shop in Keiv (a friend of his who _use to_ work at OD). (edit: i have been corrected) as of late, Roman is now a Jackson-sponsored artist ; and Eugene has 3 different separate basses that he rotates through (one of which is the Achilles 5 from Overload Guitars -- you can see _that_ work of art in some other videos)

Hey Brian! Nice reaction! Wait till you get a close look at that OD Venus guitar of Roman's--it's got some beautiful carving work on the top of the body. I think you'll flip when you check out the Jinjer playthrough videos. The guitar work is crazy good, and it helps you understand the subtlety and complexity of the songwriting. Way more interesting than 99% of metal guitar--even without solos. Here's the playthrough for Pit of Consciousness, which gives you a real good look at that OD guitar. I second Roman's playthroughs. Only then you (if you're not a pro, that is) come to realize how much awesome work he's putting in these songs. Outlander, I speak astronomy, Sit, stay roll over and Judgement and punishment are great to watch him blaze through.
