Guitar Pedal Board Build

Beau walks you through the steps on a custom guitar pedal board build as he upgrades from his old DIY guitar pedal board to a brand new one using the YesWelder Firstess CT2050. He starts off laying out all the pedal board pieces before plasma cutting them using the onboard air compressor. He dials in the pulse settings to TIG weld all the pieces together. After cleaning up the edges he builds the patch cables, glues down the carpet and then finishes it off with a camo paint job.

Good work, I used aluminum instead of steel and I have a box and pan break so I didn't have as much welding to do.

Yeah I really should have cut out relief cuts and bent it down but wanted to try out the pulse settings. Aluminum will save some weight as well for sure.

Nice job!!! Looks good and like how you fabricated the board, and set things up. One thing, like to see grommets in the holes where wires pass through. Just my thought. The Board, ROCKS!👍👍

Defiantly would be great to have those to protect the wires, will have to do it for the next one. Thanks for watching!

Did you have to take any special precautions to keep the TIG welding from damaging your electronics? I guess much of the time the electronics aren't in place when you were welding.

Would be best to wait to install anything until after everything is all welded on to ensure you don’t fry any connections.
