I’ve a solid rosewood Telecaster and gotta say I love it. Mine has a dark tone for a telecaster and the normal Tele bridge pickup sounds like an angry P90. The neck on mine is over an inch thick at the 12th, a great instrument.

HK Guitar ~ I had a ‘70 Rosewood Tele and felt the exact opposite. Just wasn’t a great guitar for me at all. Played OK,, looked great, didn’t like the sound, though, and it was heavy. Out of the five Teles I’ve had, I didn’t find one I really could get with until I inherited a ‘68 w/ rosewood board and an ash body-very unusual for that vintage. It’s incredibly light and has the sound and feel that works for me. This Rosewood Tele sounds fabulous in Lemmo’s hands, but what guitar doesn’t?
