Another fantastic video, Ryan, thank you for all the lessons and hard work. One suggestion that would really help (me anyway), is if you would play the song in its entirety at the very end one time through in real-time just so we know what it's supposed to sound like all together. There are a few transitions I question if I'm playing correctly and it would be nice to hear it all the way through to clear up those few spots. Just a thought, keep up the fantastic work!

Thanks, nice demo of the intro lick. I just play the G# from a regular 3-finger 'A' (w/pinky), and just lift my 'root' finger like an A7, and stick my index finger on the G# on the G string. Yeah, I know, it is kinda low rent, but it works and saves my aging finger-stretch (and it's an inverted chord anyway, right?)...

04:45 The studio recording and The Last Waltz version are both in the same key. Key of A. Or am I missing something here? 🤔 live: kzread.info/dash/bejne/lZd-tqiRps6-m6Q.html In any case, check out the Robbie Robertson guitar intro on The Last Waltz movi. It is so good. Much better than the studio recording! But probably more difficult to play.

Hey Ryan! Another great instructional lesson, as always. If you haven’t heard it, I strongly encourage you to listen to this classic Aussie version by The Badloves with Jimmy Barnes. Google them both. Michael Spiby is a wonderful and underrated musician coupled with Jimmy who is a household name downunder, probably our equivalent to Bruce Springsteen. Cheers mate! kzread.info/dash/bejne/mKaV1KuHpNHTiLg.html
