So I'm guessing Smash Hits was Neversoft's final form?

Does anyone else find this song harder than the GH2 version? Not in the actual playing of the song (the hitting of the notes and such), I mean the general patterns that it has.

+AriochStarr The charts of all the songs in Smash Hits are re-done to be more accurate, especially cause a lot of the songs in GH1 and GH2 weren't master tracks, they were re-records.

I remember this. I was on the stream when you FCd it, and it's still extremely impressive. I can't wait to get Smash Hits and do horribly at the BY trill.

The reason why hyperspeed makes things easier is not because it spaces out notes; it's because the notes come to you faster, so as a result there are fewer notes that can be displayed on-screen at a time. This causes less confusion and gives you less time to react. That's why the towel trick works for games that don't have hyperspeed.

I think its really awesome that some peoples hobbies are to play the guitar or the drums on Guitar Hero instead a real guitar or drums or whatever. :D Keep rockin you guys.

"makes it easier to play" Not exactly. Some people play without Hyperspeed, some people do, it's all a matter of preference.

actually, learning guitar is easier than playing guitar hero.

i didnt really belived that either, but yeah, after you play a while and you get good, you turn on hyperspeed and its much easier to see notes and to hit them, its justa visual effect

Hyperspeed makes the notes come down faster. When the notes come down faster, they spread up, so the space between 2 notes get's bigger + Less notes on the screen. THis makes the chart easier to read. It's hard to read the notes without HS for people who are used to HS

The clue is in the name. It makes the notes on the sceen run faster which makes it easier to play
