That He's alive!...? part was the hardest part to play to do this on a real guitar. But at least pick up the Les Paul is a good choice.

Guitar Hero was the only game I didn’t mind losing. It’s as if you were rewarded for doing so by hearing legendary solos before they showed up on KZread. Could play these games for hours every day just to hear fantastic songs over and over again. Was a different feeling being able to actually “play” them yourself.

I remember when I was younger I liked the Tom morello battle better but now that I’m older I listen to this battle and realize... Damn this is a master piece

Herman Li can't even play his own songs sometimes and it never sounds anywhere near as good as the polished versions, Slash has had some pretty shit performances but at least in his respect he was drunk or high beyond belief.

I beat him in a few tries on expert,even easier than morello.Just collect a lot of powerups at the beggining and then when you finnaly start to play together at the same time just activate all of them at once and the win is yours.

3:44 my favorite riff and part out of the whole song even though it breaks that bitch Death Drain free in the actual guitar battle.

Its been a very long time, but i still remember the feeling and my thoughts on this. I used to wonder if this is what Sloopy Joes in music sound like because its so sloopy but it tastes so good that you look forward to it at the school lunches. Still one of my favorite battles in the GH franchise.

You can't really compare them, as they're different to being with - Morello is insane with his unique style and Slash is amazing at traditional rock guitar. I agree with tatertottattum, can't we just say they're both great?

i may be insanely late to comment on this, but Slash definitely made GH3 a living hell for casual players. (like myself 4-5 years ago) although it does disappoint me that Mick Mars wasn't in the game; i'll pay good money for a battle against him.
