May I recommend Lou Reed’s live intro / sweet Jane from rock and roll animal. Personally this lead intro has to one of the most iconic openers it would be amazing to see a break down of it

Thanks! My guitar friend Tim . I love to talk about my favorite topic (me) but with that being said. I’ve played since I was nine years old and I’m 68 now . I played pro. Globally’ I’ve been a Professor too. I TIP MY HAT TO YOU MY GUITAR FRIEND TIM. YOU ARE AN AMAZING INSTRUCTOR AND IM LEARNING LOTS OF NEW TRICKS AND TIPS . I FEEL LIKE IVE STRUCK GOLD FINDING YOU MAESTRO. YOU ARE ON YOUR ROAD TO A SUCCESSFUL CHANNEL AND guitar course. I have my hands in too many lessons and looking into studying with you. I’ve learned that tipping often is more expensive than joining your course. I know it’s two weeks trial so I have nothing to lose by checking it out. I’ve been navigating health issues but I’m still here and excited to learn more and get back into playing regularly. 🎸 signed, Your guitar friend Jon

Mate I just found your channel ! Firstly It’s criminal you don’t have 1mil + in subs ! Keep putting in the work and the masses will come ! That live Tab /display is awesome. I’ve seen a few other people use something similar is it an app or something ? Don’t tell me you are painstakingly matching that virtual fretboard every video ?

Thanks so much, TJ! The "dancing dots" are from the midi guitar I'm playing. I then use some creativity to put my ipad drawings and the dots up together on screen. It's been working great🎸

@@Dan-qq8lpThat's correct, there's a shape he does at 11:14 that has the root and the 2 (sus2) It may be apart of the chord you mentioned though.

sigh... dude just does SRV stuff. nothing really crazy about it common technique do people really not know this stuff? JM is extremely over rated, like he can play but any 12 year old today could play that stuff. I don't get it. I don't understand the appeal i guess. most people i know have their thumb in that position, i got it from SRV who probably got it from Hendrix like this technique has been around since 60's 70's probably earlier. Dude basically does Lenny by SRV and calls it gravity lmao.

Absolutely, and that's the beauty of music and art in general-their ability to resonate differently with each individual, reflecting the vast tapestry of human experience. My observation about the artist in question being perceived as overrated due to their tendency to draw heavily from the works of others isn't to negate anyone's preference or enjoyment of their music. Rather, it's to spark a conversation about the nature of creativity and originality in music. It's fascinating how art evolves through inspiration, and yet, the line between being inspired by and outright copying can sometimes become blurred. This isn't to say that appreciation for such music is misplaced but to invite a deeper look at what aspects of their music stir such strong admiration. Is it the familiarity of the recycled elements that comforts us, or is there something more, something uniquely transformative that this artist brings to the table? In essence, my point aims to delve deeper into the complex relationship between originality, inspiration, and appreciation in music, rather than to dispute anyone's personal tastes.

@@rjgeigersmusic TL;DR - lol did Mayer bang your girl or something ? Objectively he’s a great player - heck Eric Clapton called him a master, and no offence random internet guy I’m sure you can play guitars but I’ll take Claptons opinion over yours everyday of the week
