Bandit should be a movie star. He made one of the best, if not the best video on youtube. And he is cuter and more expressive than most movie starts.

I've seen this video so many times for many years, you and Bandit has been so wholesome to watch time and time again, thank you much for this moment that I've been able to treasure 💗

His expressions make me feel as though he does understand. He knows and reacts to about 20 words. "Eat" is, of course, his favorite word.

I appreciate you for saying that. I am retired so we spend most our days together. I've had dogs since I was a child, but Bandit was my first pug. They are unlike any other dog I've known.

It doesn't matter how many times i watch him, he'll always be adorable & put a smile on my face. Plus, we get a whole drama in less than a minute & a half. We get taken through the accusations, confession of sorts, hanging the head low in shame & remorse through to the enthusiastic resolution to try & finally redemption & standing tall with his head up. 😆

This is so cute! I love the expressions on his face, as though he knows he is guilty lol! The way you talk to him is cute too!

I am born and raised in Wisconsin but when I ask my pugs if they can't behave I say, "you could try" in my best attempt at this accent. They give me cute head tilts and don't care that I don't sound southern at all. Pugs are the best doggies.

I love this video, I watch it about once a month! This is exactly how I discipline my dogs; a lecture! My little one, I swear understands every word I say. If he doesn’t like why he’s in trouble he cops an attitude and will ignore me for about an hour. Pets are so smart and loving.

My favorite Pug video. Have watched countless times. I love Guppy the Pug and this Bandit.

Pugs are very emotional. like little cartoon characters. My Dino and Enzo talk with their eyes and facial expressions all the time. so cute

Gerald Brazell Hi Gerald, yes I do live in the US, in New York state. Well, we are all lucky that you had that new camera! I have to confess that I am more of boxer and bulldog fan, but Bandit made me into a pug fan too. There is the ongoing big debate if dogs really understand the words or "just" react to the tone of our voice. I firmly believe that they do understand many, many words. But whether they do or they don't, it really doesn't matter; the way they connect with us is the most important aspect of our bond.

+Atira Sy oh, I totally agree about dogs understanding us humans. Bandit is quite good at telling time. He eats his second meal at 3 pm sharp. If I don't make a move toward where his food is stored, he begins a staring contest, and once I make eye contact, he starts doing his happy dance, barking and running in circles. It is impossible to ignore him. Have a good day.

Unfortunately, this original version was stolen by a group call All of These Videos. As luck would have it, their "lifted" version went viral and now has over 2.1 million views. Doesn't seem fair, but I didn't have my license set strong enough to prevent them doing it. I know better now.

I've watched this video a few times myself. :) Cute. Bandit understands everything he's saying. Knows when he's in trouble and when his owner is letting him off. So good at judging the tone of his owner's voice. :) Love Pugs. This video was one of the videos that inspired me to get a Pug. This and the other one with a UK Pug named Grimley. :) So glad I picked Pugs ass my 3rd dog breed/3rd dog. And I got a Pug that turned out to be "un-Pug-like"...no lazy, athletic, good when it's hot or very cold...atypical of Pugs....heh..

Yes, the Bandit is still with me. We are both "seniors" now and we have our share of similar health issues- severe arthritis and some hearing loss. Bandit was a stray, found on the street without any form of ID, so I don't know his actual age. If we make it to September 21, he will have been my constant companion for 13 years. He was estimated to have been 1 or 2 when I adopted him as a rescue in 2008. We have both been blessed. Thank you and good health to you and Watson.
