I have been waiting for years for Guild to release an S-100 with an ebony fingerboard, and I missed out. Sure would love to obtain one of those!
I just picked one up from G C ordered it online since they were back ordered on the deluxe model they sold it as a regular poloara not knowing it was a S 100 limited and your correct got it cheaper then a new epiphone SG and this Guild looks alot better as well
Man, I'm really GAS'ing for the new Ebony Kim Thayil Polara & the just announced Vintage White Kim Thayil Polara. I have a "problem" where I can't have one without the other. Lots of my guitars have a "Yin to their Yang"... ;)

Luckily I have the cherry red Polara when they were first out in 2012 or 13. FAR better than any Gibson SG, way better built, and no dive!
Along with all the other awesome features of this guitar, the proper balance overall is a MAJOR selling point for me. I always liked the sound and the look of the SG, but the neck dive kept me far away from considering getting one for myself. Guild wins this round, big time. Great video!

It is the Sweetwater-exclusive limited edition version…bound headstock and on the Ebony fretboard.

@@EJBGuitar I think the headstock binding looks cool. I'ts a shame they didn't do that on some of the earlier S-100 models
