Can you do another video of it actually recorded with a microphone? The pickup sounds like your typical piezo "qaucky" sound so why make a video based on its plugged in tone? I want to hear the actual tone of the intrument not the string vibration from a UST pickup.

There is now an OM-250ce with a Fishman GT-1; a much better pickup.

Sounds far better unplugged, it's a fucking a bargain! Totally overlooked and underestimated. As "affordable" guitars go, guild nailed it with this series!

£350. You can't grumble. Unplugged sound is very bright. Happy with it.

Would you mind telling me if the arched back is made of solid mahogany wood? Or is it laminated? Thank you for your time and sorry for my ignorance 😅

Nice warm sound unplugged. Hate the pickup/volume/tone. Doesn't sound great plugged in. Can anyone recommend a replacement pickup system for this guitar that would sound better?

Anybody trying to decide between this and a dreadnought: dreadnought for mostly flat picking, om for mostly fingers.

Not bad for a laminate guitar, just played one, not a fan of piezo pickups though

hurricanebob1 I used to have a Guild F47MCE. Good sound, fun to play. But, had piezo and a microphone inside. It was a Fishman, the microphone was unusable, feedback was terrible. I think most have given up on the built in mic. You have to mic it yourself externally, which I would not do. So, all piezos sound like Ovation guitars. You will notice, but the drunks in a bar or restaurant won’t care. You can listen to good sound at home when you practice unamplified. I might consider a Crafter tc-035 natural from Korea. Solid spruce, solid rosewood sides and back, mahogany neck, has built in tuner.

I have one tried out about 10 guitars in this price range and the OM blows them all away. Buy the way I generally play a Taylor 810 ce auditorium at $4000 and this thing sounds and plays very close at a fraction of the $$$$$$

Tuners, not closed, can pinch your fingers. Neck- gloss or satin? Nut width- 1 3/4 or 1 11/16”? Neck radius: 12” or 16”? Back, sides, top = which parts are high pressure laminate? All satin finish, no high gloss finish anywhere, correct? Does it have a front strap button? Some models do not. I assume back has a strap button. Passive controls? Or need a battery? If so, 1 9 volt, or 2 AA batteries? No built in tuner, sucks. Gig bag included or not? Let’s see it. Neck solid or laminate? Made in which country, where? Warrantee? List price? How much is the similar model with the cutaway? This video could have been better by answering these questions.

Satin neck , 1 11/16 nut , 16" neck radius , ALL wood , NO hpl (as stated in the video), all satin , no front strap button, needs 9v battery , gig bag included , solid mahogany neck (as stated in the video), China made , lifetime warranty to original owner, except for electronics, and hardware, which both have a year warranty. Street price is $555 , and the cutaway version $625.

Absolutely the worst acoustic guitar I have ever played. This one won't get and stay in perfect tune for any amount of trying. Also, the company who markets this poorly made junk , Cordoba just hide behind their voicemail . What a complete waste of money and guitar strings, shame on you Guild, I expected much better.
