Me too. I also had a wall of sadness that didn’t let me completely feel the giving and receiving, but that’s also good to feel and sit with.

Thank you for this free guided meditation. I have suffered from depression for such a long time now. My relationships have suffered because of my condition too and now I’m finally taking action and this meditation gave me so much hope that I can feel better in my own skin. This was a really incredible experience, thank you for this.

Thank u so much, I tried other types of meditation, I realized that I have some negative attitudes/treatments toward myself and others. This is my first time trying Loving-kindness meditation and really loved it.

This has helped me in feeling less guilt towards my late husband. I'm still grieving, I cried so much every time I do this metta while thinking of him and sending love.

Thanks so much for this. I think I'll try to listen to it every morning for a while. This is my first listen, and I spent 6 minutes bawling like a baby (while staying focused on the meditation). I am not sure why, and it wasn't from happiness -- but there's something there, and it felt good to get it out. I really appreciate your making and sharing this.

This was very weird and intense. Several people came up to my mind but no one Really "matched" for me, so chose an imaginary person, and all of a sudden i felt so sad that i didnt knew this person (yet?), and i started crying :( Somewhat eye-opening and relieving haha

THANK YOU❤🙏🏻I am aware of Metta practice, have done it in the remote past, but now reality reminds me I sorely need to reconnect with meditation. I searched for a "short" guided practice and this showed up... it condenses much of the profound practice, and it is so real, so simple and well thought - it suits everyone's life. It's a pearl in my first aid resources now. Thank you, blessings, much Metta to you.

Thank you for this meditation, I play this one when I’m needing to boot that feeling of METTA practice. I adore the feeling of sending love to those dear to me and receiving it back. I’m not religious but spiritualism is becoming my religion free of guidelines and judgement. May you be happy and free from suffering! Kindness sent to those in need!

No relaxing , almost hypnotic, to just sit there and forget all the problems of the world and the day and thinking of someone who makes you want to smile and feel safe and content for awhile.

Nothing wrong! Whatever you feel, just notice it, even if it's nothing. There's no need to attach judgements. Try the practice on different days and different times, and see what you notice. :)

I ended up crying thinking and wishing well a teacher who touched my life when I was a child because she was the only one who didn't treat me like demon child for my anger issues. She even help me go to the band camp I wanted to get into but was to poor. I miss her and I hope she had a good life because she's more then likely dead now since she was in her 60's then and it's been over 24 years. It felt good thinking about her and remembering her face as she used to smile at me.

This morning, just before fully awakening, I was feeling a very powerful emotion of love. But who was this feeling directed to? Well, you can believe it or not, but it was my wife. I hope you are amused and have fun with this story. We have been married for 59 years, and next year we celebrate our Diamond Anniversary. Do you think that DTM has something to do with it?
