The following will be a guided breathwork video where I integrate the Wim Hof Method breathing with the physiological sigh and mindfulness meditation. This video is a follow-up to my last video on the newly released study by Huberman's Lab.
A little bit about myself: I'm Kitaro, a Movement, Kung Fu, and breathwork practitioner and teacher. I don't like fitness. Instead, I like to combine Movement with philosophical thinking - if that makes sense. I try to publish weekly videos. So, if you like my vibe, please subscribe to this channel.

Iam doing whm for 3 years now, almost every day. It helps me alot. That my friend, was wonderful! I startet crying at the end of the bodyscan. I think that solved a blockage. Thank you very much i will come back.
I've been doing this daily every morning after my Bible study. Thank you for your work! Did y'all know that daily practice will improve your working memory and if done after a learning session it will greatly increase the chance that you'll retain the knowledge?
I can not remember the last time that I commented on a KZread video but I just had to now because this was so beautiful, needed and healing. This is unlike any other wim hof breathwork that I’ve done due to your guidance throughout. Thank you Kitaro!

@@KitaroWaga actually I found it the deepest session I have felt for years. Moved to quiet tears by the power of the suggestion and the visceral immediacy. Thank you.

What?! How is the sensation not as high? If anything this should give you more intense sensation as it has longer time durations. Maybe you are doing something wrong mate

Thanks again Kitaro. I like the gentleness of this form. Left me feeling almost weightless and floating.

Hi Mr. Waga, will you have a beginner's version of these breathing techniques in the future? Thank you in advance.
Such a profound level of peace and acceptance thank you
Wonderful session
That was truely magnificent
I've been following your guided videos and practicing with you for awhile now. A burnout few illnesses and loss well stirred up and slow cooked during the lockdowns. It hasn't been a fun to say the least. Thank you, for You've been there in my journey back to myself. Recovery: as real as they are damage and pain do not define who i am anyone my resilience does. My thanks to you Kitaro and to A. Huberman, this one was powerful. Vicente dancer 54 y.o. dancing and teaching others to dance once again.😂
I appreciate the quality of your videos; Professional work with top content! Thanks!
Please do an advanced advanced version! 4 rounds! 2 minutes round 1. 2:30 round 2, 3 minutes for round 3 and include a 4th round please! Love how you do your practice!
Thanks so much for your guidance. I feel relaxed and energised right now. Btw. You have a awesome voice!

Wow...i do different breathwork sessions for a while know, but the combination with more awareness...is beautiful! Emotions flowing..🙏 Thanks. Please keep making these guided meditations.
Really great material. It helped me cope with chronic pain and overall stress. Thanks a lot Kitaro.
Deep gratitude Kitaro, thanks for your gracious expansion on Wim. My gratitude to Wim too!
just beautiful . thank you and happy new year ❤
Great stuff!
Thanks again Kitaro🙏
Thank you for this wonderful meditation. I’m going to start my day with more calm
Love your meditations man!! I have a severe back injury and have a hard time doing Wim Hoffs, normal pace breath techniques. They are to intense for my spine, so I have been sticking to the slow version found on KZread for a long time now. Until just recently when I found your videos. Your pace, calmness and depth just suits me perfect. Love it. Also love the music! Keep up the good work brother! Much love and all the best🙏💚
This was such an amazing experience! Thank you so much! “Saturated awareness” perfectly describes how my body felt! Thank you so much! 🧘🏼♀️🙏🏼
Thanks Kitaro.

I thank you for your breath work sessions with the deepest gratitude. The combination of breath work, body awareness and meditation is most amazing. I do have a question though. Curious why in all your breathing sessions during the 15 second breath hold you do not instruct to push the air down to your pelvis and then up to your neck then head ?
Do I need to follow your rythm? Or do I need to follow my own? I breathe very very (very!) slowly (high co2 tolerance through snorkling and diving a lot maybe?) If I follow along I breathe very shallow, and run out of breath sooner during the pauses. It was a very relaxing session. The bodyscan was amazing, thanks you 🙏
amazing session, going to do it often... excited to see your channel grow! subbed ;)

Thank you, my friend!
Hey @KitaroWaga I enjoy your channel. Just two questions that I can not figure out by myself. I have seen many videos from different people including Wim and also read a lot on the subject, but... 1. I do not get if I should inhale through the nose or mouth? 2.during sickens period (cold, flu ..) I skip cold showers but should I change anything to breath work? I usually do 4 rounds of breath work everyday. Thank you very much for your work and for advice, p.

Glad you like my channel! Regarding your questions: 1. In general I advice to do the inhale through the nose and the exhale through the mouth. Once someone has a little experience, one can inhale also through the mouth. It will make the breathwork more intense. 2. If your sick, skip the cold showers - yes. But you can still do the breathwork if you adapt it to your conditions. It's no rigid practice. Maybe you need to go slower or even do another protocol like box breathing or the cyclic sighing. There's no one-size fits all solution. Sorry for the unclear answer.
The music is so beautiful. What is it from??
❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
This has helped me so much Kitaro. The breathing, music, and meditation. Will you do another video similar to this one?
Hey man, love your vids! Gotta ask tho, where do you get those vneck t-shirts?? Serious question lol

That's a merino shirt from the brand Icebreaker ☺️
I have been trying this but cant keep up with the breath hold. What do i do betwean the time when i breath an the time the next round starts
As always, your videos are just amazing! Thank you for this Video! Sadly, I really struggle to hold my breath for more than 40 seconds to a Minute max, even after 4 rounds.... At what point do I have to go out of retention? Is it at the first contraction of the diaphragm? Could high BP be a cause? Enjoy your Day! Namaste

You are so welcome! I just uploaded another "easier" version. Maybe that suits you better. But in general, you should not put too much stress on your breath retention's time. If you urge to breathe, inhale and start the next round earlier. If you feel the contraction of the diaphragm but still keep the breath hold, it's probably a sign to go on with recovery breath. But I for myself try to sometimes push on a little and consciously try to relax again.

Hello. I have had pneumonia x 3 and had trouble holding for more than 15 secs . I kept trying, doing more research to help me trust that l would be ok. I’m now able to hold effortlessly for 3 minutes. Trust your body . I believe this video of Kitaros will help you. Namaste 🙏
Can i do before bed? Thanks
Why is the physiological sigh done at the end of the round instead of the beginning? Wouldn't it make more sense to open the lung sacs in the beginning of each round? Skipped the beginning of the video, maybe i missed the explanation.
Danke!
