Very very helpful! My first meet is Saturday! I’m excited. I wanted to ask, at Worlds some of the women wore leggings underneath their singlet, this is allowed at all meets correct? I’d like to wear mine underneath if allowed. Thanks in advance!

Chelsey.Weirich Hi Chelsey! I don’t know if this is still relevant (you probably figured out by now) but I just uploaded a video covering this 🤗 (spoiler alert: yes you can wear leggins under ✌️)

Can we use wrestling singlets for weightlifting?

Wasn't the "skin between singlet and knee wrap/sleeve" rule recently removed? or was that only for IWF competitions. for example, Lovchev at 15 worlds has his singlet cover the logo on the sleeves. . I thought that USAW mirrored the IWF for changes like this

I have competed in 5 meets at 3 different gyms, and nobody ever said anything about my knee sleeves touching my singlet. I tuck them up underneath the legs so they don't slide down while I'm lifting. I have been told I have to take my belt off though.

@@Kaikojo That rule has recently changed. Lifters don't have to keep their hands on the bar until it passes the shoulders anymore. They still have to lower it in front of them and not behind, though. (According to the commentators from WWC 2018)
