Jurin was a Professional Snowboarder in Japan at 12 years old then went on to Model in her teens & has a pic with supermodel Gigi Hadid. Jurin saying "I'm pretty good at Snowboarding too" was her being super humble. Prior to joining XGALX, Chisa was active under Kansai Collection Entertainment as an actress and model. In 2016, she won semi-grand prix at Tokyo Girls Audition.

As a teenager, Jurin modeled for various fashion magazines such as Popteen, ViVi, and Drop Tokyo.. Jurin, along with fellow member Harvey, were second-generation members of the dance group Shorty. At the age of 13, Harvey took part in the 2016 Tokyo Girls Audition, a modeling audition. She received awards from the magazines Soup, Nylon Japan, Bea's Up, Popteen, and Love Berry. Harvey modeled for issues 4 and 5 of Love Berry and the November 2016 issue of Vivi. In March 2017, Harvey became the face of the make-up campaign So Good in Colors, a collaboration between MAC Cosmetics and Vogue Japan. Harvey also modeled in the seasonal promotions for the hair salon Shima, as well as for Elle Girl and Nylon Japan. In 2018, Harvey modeled at the Amazon Fashion Week Tokyo Spring/Summer show and the 27th Tokyo Girls Collection Autumn/Winter show.

Outside of xtra xtra if you want to see their personality more you should check out their episodes of three meals and x or go. It shows their true color because they’re so unfiltered

I've watched many training documentaries of kpop groups, and none of them were as raw as xg documentary. It showed many things other kpop documentaries don't show, and it wasn't edited with weird and over the top sounds.

These girls were not chosen for entertainment based on a short, glamorous production like other audition shows. They fought for five years not for anyone in a place where no one knows who they are, but secretly in a coliseum where no one pays attention to them. They are told in EXTR EXTRA. These girls, who are about to become huge, are still in the beginning chapters. And all these high quality contents will remain as a shock to those who know XG in the future!

The documentary is long. 8 episodes and you see how they were formed. You will be in tears and really love ghem

It's really cool to see another person falling in love with XG, If you want to get to know the girls better, the documentary Xtra Xtra is the best option, and there's a lot of content on their channel too (Vlogs Xtra XG) unfortunately there aren't many good guides about them. I recommend this one here (momosunrise) which posted a guide for each of the girls "A Guide to XG - This is Jurin (2024)" It's easier to get to know a bit about them, but there are also many cool interviews (XG Sings Game of Song Association ELLE - XG Vs. Iconic 90s Bops! Do They Know It?! -Try Not To Sing Or Dance Challenge - XG XG are the QUEENS of Hip-Hop and R&B) They've got 2 reality shows on Mnet they're a lot of fun (XG's three meals a day and X or GO)

I am just like you. I got into K pop around 2009-2010 period when I was in college. I started with Bi Rain, Lee Hyori, 2NE1, Shinee and Epik High. However my love for k-pop kind of fell off during Wonder Girls & Girls Generation period. The songs seem became too mainstreamed and too many girls groups/boy groups popping out with too much similarities to each other. Plus the dramas and harsh toxic fan base putting alot of the pressure on the idols really did not help at all. Then I discovered Girls Xypher (1yr ago) while browsing youtube and immidiately fell in love with Cocona and Jurin. The rest was history.

XG is actually better than Blackpink, although I've listened to a lot of their music too, in the past. XG represents a new global group from Japan, and Japan is proud of them. Blackpink, on the other hand, represents more of the KPop genre only. I finally feel proud of a Japanese group that is going global.

Since 2015? Youngsta! I can give you information that explains a lot but it might change your views of KPop. I am Gen X Korean who stopped listening to KPop after 2NE1 and Big Bang when they first started...until the SK gov stepped in.
