Guide to NEW Delkim Txi-D bite alarm features | Korda Carp Fishing 2019

Спорт

Neil Spooner from Monster Carp and Korda is joined by Delkim man Lee Romang to take a detailed look at the main features of the NEW Delkim Txi-D and Rx-D bite alarms. The latest release from Delkim, a carp fishing favourite, has had over 10 years of development and over 40 years of bite alarm experience to help make the most technologically advanced bite alarm ever produced.
In this feature heavy explanation and how to guide you can learn how to program and adjust your alarms to get the best from them. This includes the new R (Response) button that replaces the + and - from previous alarms and works alongside the unique Beep Speed function. Don’t worry the Delkim warble remains! They also discuss the new IMU movement sensor that has been added to improve the anti-theft system and how to set it up. PLUS learn about the new DO NOT DISTURB feature… one of Spooners favourites.
Digital signal processing, beep speed control, digital radio, advanced robotic weather proofing and smaller precision mouldings are just some of the improvements that have gone into the Delkim Txi-D alarm.
Delkim say: “The best just got a whole lot better!”

    All the korda team are top guys had the pleasure of a bit of coaching while at embryo norton disney. But they are sponsored by these companies and of coarse try to sell there gear as much as poss. Theres alot of other gear that do the same job at half the price if not less. Case of researching mid to high range gear and not just the stuff korda biggup in there vids. Tight lines buddy 👍🎣

    Still use a first edition Delkim when I am roving on the river deadbaiting for Pike, never had a single problem with it so I will carry on using it, when deadbaiting for Pike on gravel pits I still use my Delkim Optonics which are over 30 years old and again NEVER had one problem with them, TOTALLY reliable, even after a weekend of torrential rain.

    Maybe it’s just me but like most carp gear I feel they are massively over priced. Being in the electronics industry I suspect the components used to make them cost peanuts. But as usual us mugs will buy them!!!!

    I bought the 2nd gen delkims and had them for 15 years without any issues. Last year I upgraded to the new ones and hope they make it is as well for at least a decade. If they do, I don’t mind if they are somewhat pricy… because I like to buy and don’t have to rebuy soon.

    Your paying for all the research and development, 10 years of it isn’t cheap. My delkims have lasted me years without fault, quality components and well engineered. In some cases you still get what you pay for..

    *These things are awesome **enjoyable.fishing** recommend it’s very loud when they go off and I could hear it easily from 20 yards away from my pole. Also very sensitive that even a bluegill will trip it. But one of the alarms wasn't working, made a quiet click and a flash of the LED and it was it. Was fine since I'm only allow 2 poles in the state I live in. High quality and already came with batteries.*

    Never understand what people do to get this. I've been fishing with delks for 20 odd years. Had 4 or 5 different sets as I've gone from carp to sea fishing multiple times, they have been dunked in the lake multiple times. Sat through some shocking weather with rain, snow and ice. And have literally never let me down.

    @@MIlManMatty fair enough mate. If you dont bother with a receiver the standard plus can be had between 40 and 50 quid now. • @novi2864

    @novi2864

    Its called a hanger/bobbin/swinger (depends on what type) But its just there to keep tension on the "wheel" (in this case its not a wheel but a Y shaped vibration sensor) if there is no tension on the wheel/sensor it can have a hard time reacting. AND also if the fish picks up the bait and swims towards the rod (what we call a dropback), the hanger falls down and pulling line with it so the alarm still react, if no counterweight(hanger) on this side off the alarm and there is a dropback the alarm will not react ;)
