I drive a 13 impala, no shame. But I would NEVER put a damn exhaust on it. It's a sedan. If it ain't a V8 it should be quiet. I've never seen one that sounds good. Some sound good idling. But that's it

Im a jdm guy and I own an e92 m3 with a v8, e34 wagon with a v8, and i have a few v8 projects that ive yet to finish. And i myself can say.... get a v8.

I got a v6 police pursuit 2008 for my bday from dad, my dad has the same year and v8 5.7L hemi police pursuit, having a v6 doesnt make you broke it just means its more convineant on gas milage! Pure facts

Yo Boi Sunset how much do you recommend the pursuit package chargers. Kinda thinking of a 2014-2015 5.7 Hemi Police Charger, looked like it was a highway patrol vehicle back in its service days.

One of the best sounding V6 setups I have seen so far, well done.

THIS GUY IS TELLING THE TRUTH, I just recently bought a v6 Charger , 2007... my car sounded good already with magnaflow and I just got it redone for only $275 total at American muffler , and it sounds 10x better

Kudos to you marspeed, you make some fantastic videos bro. Thank you for highlighting the v6s, your content is tremendously helpful. You get a lot of hate from trollers. Most of them have no idea what they are talking about and don’t even own a v6 nor a v8 Mopar. Dodge owners support each other, never let the ignorance of trollers discourage you. Super6 Charger thanks for the support and kind words brother! I’ll never hate on the V6 no matter what car I have, people have to start somewhere haha, Mopars of any kind are great!

A lot of people commenting don't realize that there is quite a difference in cost between the v6 and v8 muscle cars. Most people can't afford the higher payments and higher insurance for a v8. So the majority of people are cruising around in the v6 Chargers, Challengers, Mustangs, etc. Nothing wrong with that. Might as well make it as fun as you can with the money you have. Some of these v6s can sound pretty mean and v8-like with the right exhaust. Of course in the higher rpms people will know what you have. But that start up sound though. When you crank it up everyday you will smile and people will turn their heads to see what made that sweet sound.

Agreed man. I’m not in a position where I have 2 Hemis but I still have that same V6. That’s all I could afford when I was 18 and it made my day better cruising around in that thing with a nice bit of sound. Put a smile on my face most days for sure. As long as it’s not done horribly wrong and sounds half decent, there’s no shame in having fun with what ya got in the present day!

@@MarspeedCars yeah man your car sounds sweet! Deep and throaty like it should be. I don't have a Charger but I do have an Olds Alero that I made sound pretty mean. Put a turbo muffler and a cold air intake on it. It's got a bit more power and has more of a growl to it now. It's all I can afford to have right now but I made it fun for myself.

I'm a 2013 charger RT owner, with a Borla Cat-Back, and it sounds pretty amazing with the cold air induction as well, but I'm really partial to the sound of a hemi, but I have to say your car sounds great. It actually has a better back pressure sound, at least with no load on the engine, than a lot of cars with bigger motors. So thumbs up, plus this was a good, well thought out, and well-presented video. Thanks, I'll be subscribing.

If you want to make it louder you Should go with glass packs , they’re louder than the super 10s and way cheaper

I'm not sure what is different as I think I have heard this exhaust set up before. But this is the best sounding (to me) V6 Mopar. The tone seems deeper, not as raspy. Thanks for sharing.

Sounds surprisingly great, especially cold start and idle. It does go high pitch V6 in high rpms though. Nice work.

To anyone wanting to do this to their car, i did a standard Resonator delete to my 300 Limited i have the 3.5L and cut it off right behind the resonator and to my liking its just enough to make a difference very nice sound i recommend it. Doing the muffler as well would give me louder sound id imagine but for my liking its just enough. 👌🏽

I myself just bought a 2006 charger SXT with only 84,000 miles on it although I was heavily looking at the higher end models such as srt and even some police models, and i was definitely persistent enough, If I was also patient enough could have gotten one for the same price I paid for this but I opted to go for this car instead, it's 2019 and I got this model with super low mileage and super clean interior and exterior, now I am looking forward to doing a bunch of upgrades on it. But for those of you who don't know the V8 version is not expensive and you can easily cop one for an additional 400-$1000. for example I had a budget of $4,000 but I was looking at cars in the 5500 range and repeatedly talked numerous people down to 4500 easily. If your patient enough you can definitely find the right car but don't be pulled either way it's a great car anybody who says otherwise can suck something. It's all love here, I was a former Ford owner now I am strictly Dodge

I had a 2008 Pontiac G6 with a 3.5l V6. I deleted the resonator & added the flowmaster super 10 series single inlet dual outlet muffler with some 3" exhaust tips out the back. It sounded really good. I would also like to recommend that adding a cold air intake help with the exhaust note. Plus the sound of the air intake is nice.

Remember if you're doing a dual exhaust setup on the 2.7 and 3.5 get some head shield for the left hand side. Or it would go up in flames lol I did true dual on my 3.5 I only had it for a month before the hemi bug bit

Have a 08 Charger with the 3.5L High Output (was used as a state cop car) its too quite ,but everyone I've asksed has justs said to do a muffler delete .My question is what is the bests exhausts set up for that deep muscle car sound minus the drone.(do a lot of highway driving).

I've got a first Gen santa fe which I'm currently working on making more hp and sounding better. Like the 2010 and older chargers I have a single exhaust pipe and a 2.7 v6. But Its got a very different tune obviously. I'm just wondering if utilizing these steps apply for all cars or just the chargers?

Great video. I assume the same info goes for the 2005 - 2010 Chrysler 300c 3.5L V6. the 3.5L V6 just has a better deeper sound than the new 3.6L pentastar.

hey, nice sound, iam bit confused because your mufflers are at the back of the car are they not ? and resonators are mid based... so what it looks like you deleted was mufflers in the rear and swapped your resonators for a mid muffler super 10 ?? correct ?

I did about the same thing with my 2019 v6 challenger and its sound aint bad i cant get over the droning sound at about 25 mph when accelerating not sure what to do to get rid of it ..i got flowmasters to straight pipe and duel tips on each side

i have a 2019 raptor and sadly its a 3.5L v6 but its twin turbo, i did a muffler and resonator delete straight pipe to the back and it sounds pretty good but i want a more snappy sound. not sure how i would achieve that

looks like a cat back super 10.... sounds good, but bit confusing in to what you call mufflers and where you place the resonator. so in my v6 durango, its resonator first then muffler. your video is muffler then res???

If I wanted to keep the single out pipe but replaced the factory exhaust with a borla and already did a resonator delete will I still get to basically achieve some variation of exhaust pop? Or do I need to go through the piping of my 300 and basically straight pipe it

Sounds real good to my ears....just need to do a manual transmission swap. I regularly outran the V8s in my Audi 1.8T so having a V8 ain't everything.

Dude get glass-packs they’re louder and sound much better than the super 10s and there cheaper , I got one for 30$ and it’s amazing and it’s has a nice deeeeep rumble . I had the super 10s and they were good but glass packs are way better dude

I had to go straight pipes on my V8 after hearing your car. Nice sounding car

I did the exact same exhaust setup on my sxt.. Much better than silence. And to all the "get a v8 guys", I'm sure he'd gladly take one if you bought it for him. I'm keeping my sxt as a winter beater and grabbing a real v8 powered (LS3 > Hemi) car this spring.

I want todo this too my 2010 Charger so bad, but I have 0 experience :( Edit: 3 months later after a a lot of research I got this done on my 2.7l Charger today, and honestly it sounds so good, I am pleasantly surprised and will get this job done all my future chargers and challengers.

I have 2014 100th Anniversary Year V6 and it actually sounds pretty good with just a cold air intake. Might try new mufflers.

Parts were like $300 install $400 taxes the rest I think? If you can buy the super 10 on your own it’s cheaper though they like double the cost of parts when charging you
