He's also the trainee that's already been chosen to be in a debut team since he started becoming a trainee in sm (sm divided the trainees under many categories, debut team basically the trainees are confirmed to debut in any upcoming project). When they officially started 'EXO' project, Kai was the first member selected by the company. Hence, why they introduced him first.

Both Kai and Sehun co-choreographed a lot of exo's choreographies. Kai co-choreographed all the predebut teasers that he participated in. (exo had 23 predebut teasers, and Kai was in 11 of them)

Kai actually had the least solo works among exo until 2020(other than Sehun). He had like 2l3 songs where he promote only for concert tours. You couldn't even find them on the spotify if exo didn't release a concert album. And still, he doesn't have much solo work compared to other members still. Like everyone else other than Sekai have osts and collabs even without debuting as soloist.

haha it was because kokobop was so overplayed that summer, im sure the members were sick of it too. but i love it you should definitely check it out, it was the first exo song i heard :) also the "g" in korean words is never prounounced as "j". so kai is "jong-in"
