Dbd is a procedural game with set standards so it's possible to determine every possible location and quantity of pallets and find the percentage of success that each strategy that can be done. Then we could choose one and modify it to be as efficient as possible and boom, we have the best possible way to run every map in the game for most Efficient and optimal way. The only problem is that this whole thing requires ai and a truck load of free time.

Azarov's Resting Place: Do not break the wall in the office if you are Huntress. If you chase them and they enter the office, their only way out is the window, which will pretty much guarantee a hit. You'll either get a hatchet hit when they vault, or if they fake it, there is still no other way out so it's pretty much a guaranteed hit.

The Game map has definitely more breakable walls than the one shown inside the video. The first floor contains many breakable walls that may allow easier navigation for both survivor and killer however, you generally do not want to break them as some of them may lead to straight up dead ends

Just today I had the opposite of a god pallet due to a wall like that. After I vaulted it, I had no choice but to vault back to the killer to get out lol

This is why Otz is my fav dbd streamer. He made me a great killer. Not just 'here is how to play this killer and here is a few builds.' He really gets into the details that propel you to higher play

Hey Otz, I think you missed some of the breakable walls on the game map. There is a pair of walls on the lower floor between the outer and the inner sections of the map. If you do not break them they create a dead end that can lure survivors into getting hit quite easily.

Honestly I think he didn’t want to deal withthat map since there’s like 20 breakable walls. I typically just never break them on this map

Make one where you tell survivors how to play all loops. Like at first the normal loops that can be found on every map and then loops that are unique to the map.

Guides for how to run each map could actually be a really interesting series. (or just another 8 hour video, knowing you :p)

25:11 - 25:26 -> Claudette self caring in a corner: "Not if something to say about it I have!"

26:00 gave me an extreme deja vu moment, like I had already seen this before and everything that happened after was something I had seen before despite watching this video for the first time

Fellas, if you don't have time to watch the in depth explanation: break most walls that will make a strong window weaker. As for walls you shouldn't break, don't break one that will make a path for survivors to link loops together and extend the chase. (typically a path to pallets)

Okay this actually really helped. I didnt know about the school death trap as killer and as a survivor I didnt really know how to loop on Midwich (very rare that I am sent to the map) Pretty new compared to most of the community maybe 50 hours (on console so cant actually see)

I can’t wait for Otz’s guide on every blade of grass in reworked maps

I’ve never seen the alt window spawn on disturbed ward yet I only get the rng spawn as killer and survivor facing the breakable door and that’s very useful information it makes more sense now the other day when I got outplayed ! Thank you again for a very in depth guide and knowledge ! Would be cool to see you do a tier list sometime with killer explaining in your opinion there strongest or weakest maps along with a survivor guide sometime explaining optimal pathing in main buildings for survivors.

The two rooms upstairs in Ormond are worth breaking if someone loops you there. The window can be in either room and regardless which, it is a really strong loop/window. It’s essentially the same as the dead rooms in the saloon if they are opened on the inside

Otz can literally make an hour long guide about how to optimally open every exit gate on every map and I’d still watch it.

Hi otz, I started watching you like 2 months ago. At these days, i was just new, lame player of this game and i didnt really know how to pro-play. (i was playing urban evasion and self-care too, i know, it was stupid) I just wanted to thank you for every video you did, as for Tips&Tricks, and as your highlights and other videos helped me so much to improve at playing, only reason why iam red rank as survivor is you. The only one I disagree with is the last wall mentioned for suffocation pit. Breaking the wall makes it so the two windows can't be chained together as easily. If the wall is up good survivors can just chain the windows together so easily.

Hey Otz that was a nice explanation though I think you missed out on the breakable walls on the bottom floor of the game. Some creating dead ends but opening them makes traversing much easier.

I enjoy the idea of otz Just informing killers who are new to the entity’s realm the ropes. Pinhead over here taking notes and stuff.

Good idea to break the Azarov's wall, but from time to time I've gotten funny downs because either the entity blocked the window or I used perks to block it.

What a nice man. I hope nobody compares him to a penguin from a franchise.

I've never actually seen a Demo climb through a window before and don't think I've ever actually done so as Demo myself. So seeing Demo climbing head first though a window on all fours was oddly endearing and cute. And then the maw opens up and I remember why I should be running. I _very much enjoy_ doing the "Midwich trap" as I like to call it, breaking the bottom wall but not the top wall. I've caught five different Survivors with it so far, one as Demo even, and it is so, so, so satisfying when it happens. Huh. I always get confused when you say "House of Pain" because that's why the Myers' house is called, at least the achievement for doing the gen there and getting out alive. So every time you've called some other building "House of Pain" it tripped me up but with you having explained it, and it being very obvious we're not on Haddonfield, it's more clear now. Thanks for the video Otz!
