Any advice would be helpful and appreciated. Anything like: what you found useful, what I could have included, what your hiking plans are etc. Thanks!

Thank you! I went shopping at the Super U in Calvi. I mainly bought dried fruits and mixed nuts/fruit. I didn't bring enough calories, though. Some people on trail were very generous and shared some. It was a lifesaver.

Great video! I’m also going to be hiking the gr20 in early-mid October, next month. You said about 50% of the huts were open and you could use the bunks/gas stoves. Do you think I can rely on the gas stoves in the huts for a hot meal most days and not bother bringing my own camping stove? Thanks!

Hi! Thanks for watching. If you want a hot meal most days, then it is probably best to bring your own just in case. 🙂. I hope you have a great time on the GR20.

Great job with the video! I will be doing the GR20 in September. In your experience, do you have any advice on keeping your feet from getting blisters and chewed up? I hiked the alps last summer (TMB) and my one take away was how important footwear is, so this go around I want to be extra prepared considering this trek is longer and more difficult. Thanks!

Hi, and thank you. My feet were wrecked after doing the TMB, hiking in the Picos de Europa, and doing the GR20 in one month. The last few days of the GR20 were very painful. I don’t have any great advice, but make sure you bring a good first aid kit. Good socks are important too, and have multiple pairs. Also may help if you walk a lot in the footwear that you plan on wearing prior to the GR20. Hope everything goes well for you.

Maybe a wide brim hat, lots of sunscreen, clothes that will keep you cool during the day, and a lightweight water filter. There will be rivers to cool off in, as well. Be safe, and thanks for watching.

Hey nice GR20 Videos. What did you spend the 800 Euros for? I will be hiking the GR20 in June and I‘m trying to calculate how much money I will need, during my hike.

Hi and thank you. Travel expenses: several nights at an airbnb/one hotel, car rental, food, taxis. I didn't spend much while hiking. I think I spent around $50 on the resupply in Vizzavona. Corsica, in my opinion, is expensive, and I would think prices will be higher in June than when I went in October(out of season, so refuges closed). Hope that helps a little. Take care.
