Alexandra T yeah I noticed that too, but they usually do that to all the cases of clear domestic violence that go on the show, they try to play it as "oh they just need to talk" or "they will get better with time" which is pretty messed up

Husband in the first concern should've never got married. He was purposefully looking to date a girl that he could dominate and push over and then he was a fake that whole year of them dating. There's no changing him, she's gonna leave him when the kids get into college or move out( I really hope she does) and the kids are going to either hate him for treating her that way or continue on the cycle of abuse. Its so sad.

First husband is abusive, she needs to leave asap, talking about at least I’m not hitting her? Uhhh what? Second husband is an alcoholic, in my opinion, he needs rehab asap. I’m glad the little boy came to the show, the concern was concerning for his age as he is 12 and if the mum kept the same thing until he starts puberty it might cause problems so it was good he came early on to talk about it xD poor baby didn’t get the toy he wanted aww.

That freaking fish tank comment I think was one of the worst things I have ever heard someone say on this show. Seriously I am so pissed off at this guy! You know this society needs to change when only 132 people thought this was a concern. I feel so bad for people who have to live through the abuse thinking its their "Fate".

They need to not compare the first husband with the 2nd husband. Both cases are a nightmare. One is abusive, one is neglectful/alcoholic. Having to "choose" between either doesn't make sense. I can't believe the girls answered that the abusive husband would be better to live with. No, just no. I'm disappointed they said that, it would've been better to say they'd rather live alone. Plus, it seems like they're making it as if the first wife's problem isn't "so bad" compared to the 2nd family. Just no.

I stared in horror while that scene unfolded...I thought that was one of the most backward scenes on Hello Counselor and I still can't belive they did that. Making light of situations you've never experienced instead of using your energy to make the lives of those affected better during your interaction with them. Totally irresponsible with their platform.

I can't believe the guests chose the abusive first husband over the drunkard lmao I'd rather have a husband who doesn't come home at all rather than one that screams at me and my children.

Seriously, I begun watching the show bcz of the idols/guests, now it's my daily routine before going to sleep, some girls remove their make up, I watch hello counsellor, I love this show so much, especially the hosts, they now all have a special spot in my heart, like family I see every night, I'm really thankful to those that translate the videos, really, sure some concerns are really upsetting (like this episode) and not knowing if the person changed after the show is concerning too, but the fact seeing ppl opening up and talking about their daily struggles actually makes me feel human, I don't Know, I just love this show

Just like a woman cooks for the house but also its primary to cook and eat yourself. My meaning is that the one must have self respect the first husband was abusive and no body should settle for abuse. He kept saying atleast I don't hit you which is a horrible mentality. It really was, I hated that part! The first husband was really abusive adn had a horrible mentality. He faked his personality because he wanted her to marry him??? How is that okay?? And he's proud that, at least, he'd never hit her? That just shows that someday he really will hit them! If it were me I would divorce right away because I would seriously be super scared of him. And yeah, the girls choosing the first?? You could see he was proud of it, which just validates what he's doing, meaning what was said before has no meaning, he can just disregard because at least he's better than a drunkard. Ugh, I love this show but this was indeed disappointing and one of the worst eps I've watched =(

The man from the first concern is a real piece of work. He was only nice to her for a year to "catch" her.

The little boy in the last concern was so sweet! He really was grateful to his mom but he felt like he couldn't talk to her alone. When he said he could give all his organs for her...my heart!! I'm glad he got his hot packs and Gundam. Also Youngja's sweater is A+. 10/10 would wear!

I would much rather have a husband who never came home than one that constantly yelled at my children and I. I would rather not live everyday with abuse. Although the drunkard husband isn’t completely scott-free... because he is neglecting his family and causing his wife fear of what could happen to him and others. Ok the woman from the first concern needs to get tf out and take her kids with her. Her husband was creepy from the start just like "I'll pretend what I need to pretend to trap the pretty city girl!" like whaatt?? And he's not even doing the bare minimum and thinks that's acceptable.. everytime he mentioned "at least not hitting her" I could almost feel the "yet" that seemed like it should come after. He needs to regulate his anger before he ends up in jail and his wife in the hospital. The 2nd concern needs to talk to somebody about his alcoholism like if you can't go a day without drinking and making crazy decisions like he was making just for a drink that's straight up alcoholism! The last concern was so sweet! The mom is trying and it must be hard since her mom is gone and she doesnt have anyone to run parenting by but she's trying and she's doing great bc she raised a personable, polite, adorable little boy who loves her to the moon & back! They almost made me cry! Ahaha!
