what a beautiful transformation, I turned a 10 dollar dresser into a sideboard , by adding wood salvaged from an old piano, I used vintage silverware in place of traditional hardware and i will be adding IOD transfer on this piece, homemade chalk paint with only 3 ingredients, Plaster of Paris, warm water and eggshell. Matte latex paint, colors are limitless. Thanks for sharing your beautiful transformation, it inspires us so much xox

My grandparents had one of these, they called it a chifforobe. There were shelves on top to store hats an drawers on the bottom. It was used by them to store bedding like my grandmother's chenille bedspreads and feather pillows. It was very old and beautiful then, that almost 60 years ago. Beautiful. I adore yours.

Wow Mark what a SPECTACULAR piece. I can't wait to start getting those transfers. They are absolutely BEAUTIFUL. I have 3 pieces waiting to do. I'll be moving out of my apartment I found its too hard to be here since my daughter passed away and we were only 2 patios away from each other. As much as I THOUGHT I'd be OK with it I'm not. Hi Marie, as long as you clean your wood properly and take off any dirt and dust, a good paint will be just fine without sanding it. Paint is a colorized adhesive. When you put "glue" on something, it sticks.

Mark, this is so vibrant, colorful and happy. I would love to see a tour of your house. I have a feeling that it is full of happy, vibrant bits and pieces. I love how you blended the green paint into the pretty aqua color. I may try this approach. It looks so easy. Thank you so very much. Hi Mark, I missed a few videos so I'm catching up. I have to say wow!🤩 such an incredible transformation! I admit I was scared when you applied the bright liquid green paint. It looked almost like nicotine instead of aging to me. But I should never doubt you!!! Well, riding the roller coaster of faith is part of the thrill of creating beautiful things! ❤❤❤

Hey George, you can decoupage any kind of images you want on it. Just make sure to mist them with water lightly if you're printing them out on a home copy machine.

Yes, you can spray seal (outside) or use a minwax polycrylic over everything if you want.

You can improvise and perhaps paint the harlequin maybe? I got my turquoise paint in the blooper section of the paint store for $5? or so!
