He tried a comeback a bunch of years ago after he was on The Apprentice, but for some reason that I do not understand, he couldn't keep the ratings up. The new show was cancelled in the first season.

I never clicked on anything so fast in my life. So cool of Jimmy having Arsenio host. The guy's 65 and he looks 40. WOOF! WOOF!

My 96 year old Mother stayed up pass her BedTime when I told her Arsenio was going to be on. It was Soooooo good to see her Laughing at his jokes she's usually in bed. Wanda was good also. Good Time Thanks JK

It's weird that this almost made me a bit emotional. I grew up sneaking my TV on and watching Arsenio after my bedtime. It's like going back to my childhood! He hasn't missed a beat, I love it!

And anyone who is a fan of his, knows his best show was his first run. Which even he references himself. So like I had said before, it’s nice seeing him back in the light again.

I can remember friday episodes in particular because on my local fox 25 fridays were movie nights and I remember watching rocky 2 afterwards. And yes I watched almost every episode of the revival. It felt dated. Like he really took a long commercial lol

@@CallingALLmarks yeah. They didn’t do him any justice on the revival. Poorly planned production, and I guarantee you, it was against his creative ideas he wanted to put forward. I remember being happy as an older kid being like “he coming back!”, but when I watched, it just didn’t have the same energy.

Arsenio is one of the most likable people ever. Could watch him talk for hours.

My mom used to watch Arsenio's show and he's very funny. He is also extremely handsome.😊

Jimmy has a smart smart show, these guest hosts over the summer are just awesome!

The audience started doing that at the "Tonight Show" and Carson said "don't woof; do that at your junior high school reunion." Arsenio's success was one of the things that made Johnny feel like he was getting to be out of step with the times.

Yep, so painfully true lol. I'm 43 and my hair has gotten considerably thinner over the years and now it's a matter of how can I wear my hair as opposed to how do I want to wear my hair lol. I have to have it pretty short now to compensate for the thinning...sigh...on top of that it's insanely curly and nearly 50% gray. I can't win, I swear 🤬😡

My grandpa had perfectly good Elvis style hair until he was 80 when he died, Im blessed with the same gift. Istarted going grey in my 20s in the Marines from stress.

@@ricobhi I was 19 when Arsenio came back. I enjoyed the show even though his monologues were hit or miss oftentimes. There were several reasons why the revival failed though. One of those reasons was because the show, like his old one, aired in first-run syndication. Late-night talk shows just aren't cut out for that market anymore, what with broadcast and cable networks gaining the upper hand in the late-night arena.
