I just bought the Gucci Soho Disco in black, worried it was going to become unavailable due to the design phasing out of stores, hopefully it will remain a classic still. Completely off topic, but you really remind me of Winona Ryder for some reason, she's an absolute goddess, so it's a compliment, but I'd say you have a more Mediterranean complexion, which is lovely!!

The Soho bag has been discontinued. I was at Gucci today! I have the black one. I really love the Marmont collection now with the pretty hardware.

My strap peeled a bit:/ there were small fringes... The staff told me it would be normal if you would wear rings or when it rubs against jacket zippers. I only wore it about 10 times 😕

Theresa Marie I have been making the same decision regarding colour. As far as I know, Rose Beige is sold out in many places like in Thailand and in Hong Kong. I was told by a Gucci SA in Thailand that they already have new collection (two-tone colour) to replace it. However, you can still get them in Gucci shops in London and some shops in USA. Hurry up if you haven't got it yet.

Hey there. I bought my Gucci Soho Disco in black from the Gucci store a few days ago and it had an odour too, almost chlorinated. I asked the sales associate to bring out 2 others of the same kind and all of them had the same scent. She put it down to the packaging the bag is wrapped in. I was relieved at that point. Hope that reassures you somewhat.

I got comments from other people too about the smell, all new bags bought these past months. I don't believe at all it's due to packaging, because the smell rubbed off on my hands. One woman said it faded over time thought, but still. Very shady of Gucci. I returned mine and will be buying pre-loved.

Oh that's so bloody disappointing of Gucci :( I wanted to get pre-loved beforehand but have been searching high and low to no avail (in Vancouver where it's really hard to get the good bags) so I ended up caving in. I guess I have to accept that this must be a newer batch issue. Not happy though as the Marmont bags smelled lovely in the shop!! Hope you find a decent pre-loved.

Great video! I'm thinking of getting the Louis Vuitton favorite in the mm size for a crossbody / clutch. Do you have any thoughts regarding that bag? I'm not near a lv so I have always ordered online which sucks... I bought the speedy b 30 based on your recommendation and love it!
