Yeah i saw every game last saison including all cl games. The zdm position is the key long balls into the middle (haaland). I love this Team all are delivering i think for myself;) ps: Haaland scores 5 today:)

It's not that...he has a better grasp on the history of football than any other manager in the world. The box midfield? WM. The false 9? Hidekguti and Sindelaar. Playing two fullbacks and a CB as a sweeper? Cruyff's Barça. The guy loves football history, and that is shown in his tactics. That's his biggest strength

libero isnt a tactic, its a playstyle... a playstyle for 1 player in the team... that 1 player/playstyle is only 1 part of a whole system

​@@cityofeverything but in pep's case it is a tactic tho. Pep is very controlling, so this more of a tactical shift rather than Stones naturally doing this himself. Playstyle would fit someone like Gabriel Jesus, who would only shoot only when his dribbling creates an easy way to goal. Pep thought he could play him like Aguero but that trait of his would stress Pep out, so he got rid of him

That is why Manchester city is so good

However it’s very easy to beat Pep, stay in the game, they just like to play with your mentality make you loose ur cool, force you to mark them, if they can’t brake ur defensive system and ur mind you will be able to beat them.. Madrid nd Tottenham done it very easy. Yes I hate city style of football is boring…

City football style is boring? 😂. And do remember that when Madrid beat city, City was still weak because for obvious reason (different Players). Instead, it was Madrid playing style that was boring right now, lots of intercepted passes, lots of bad passes, most of the time it was only about individual skill. City would win 100% vs Madrid because city has more depth in their playsystem, Im even up for a bet 😂

I will probably get lost in the comment section and might not be able to come back. But… Do you happen to speak Portuguese? The way you pronounce Akanji sounds so Brazilian ❤ I was born in Brazil, but have lived most of my life in Japan.

Honestly I don't get how Akanji starts over Walker. Walker can play as a really solid centre-back and an amazing full back. I also don't get how Grealish starts over Foden considering how good Foden has been lately.

Akanji is more defensive and is great with the ball at his feet and I think Pep wanted someone who’ll think defensive first and Phil was hurt for some time during the season and didn’t have the form to play in those big games

He started with akanji because inter didnt have a player like vini jr a true winger so he played akanji he is taller and more defensive
