Pep Guardiola is expecting an intense test of his team’s Premier League title credentials against Everton on Sunday.
The relegation-threatened Toffees produced a stunning 5-1 win at Brighton last weekend to haul themselves out of the bottom three but are still in the thick of the dogfight to avoid the drop.
As a result, the City boss expects Sean Dyche’s men to have their tails up and says the fact the game is sandwiched between two legs of the Champions League semi-final against Real Madrid makes the task that much harder.

Gundo's problem was the ultra aggressive tackle by Rudiger which concussed him. Uefa has always allowed these tackles against City. Next wednesday will probably be the same !?

City can afford to drop 4 points and still win the title on goal difference (+14 over Arsenal). BUT the Real-Madrid game is a MUST-WIN. Therefore City should rotate the team heavily at Everton and keep the big guns ready for the CL.
