Well played, some good blocking there. A fun game. A lot of cool character designs.

Guardian Heroes was great because it never took itself too seriously.

I'd love it if Arc got a hold of this property and made a sequel, along with a re-release of the original of course.

Loved this game so much, doing a remake of the game I created in high school based on a comic my brother and I created as kids lol It was heavily inspired by this, though it is sci-fi fantasy, as the main character is part human and of a primordial alien race. Working hard on having it look like Guilty Gear.

@ZekealllBeroke I haven't created them yet. There is a lot of stuff I am working on, by myself at the moment. Rewriting some of the lore, the characters, redesigning some of the characters, all of it.

Impressively done! I've always loved this game tremendously, along with the HD remake. I keep hoping it'll pop up on Steam someday, but it never does... Maybe one day.

The game was supposed to be a prequel to that franchise.

Valgar's theme is a banger.

I knew that art style looked familiar. This game is made by the same company that made Mischief Makers for the N64!

I love how Zur gets a hundred shots at 32 HP and still won't go to 0.

Another classic.

This particular graphic style reminds me of a GBA game I've once played... I think it's the same game!

Advance Guardian Heroes on GBA is the sequel. The intro shows the sword of undead hero attacked by super Zur. You also fight some of the heroes from this game as they are possessed. The GBA version is hard, and I discovered the Saturn game looking for some AGH speedruns. I'm also thinking Gunstar Heroes is related, because the art style matches

Doesn't tlook like a terribly hard game, which is odd by Treasure Standards. Then again, Beat-Em-Ups tend to be harder than they look

It definitely does depend on the difficulty. The AI can be very aggressive and vicious on max difficulty - especially in the remake!
