"when regular day to day runner crosses 20km, the pro runner is on the finish line, look at the difference" ....this being said in the video, just take into consideration that regular day to day runner has a job and in most cases family so he is doing the regular day to day running in a spare time ...cheers

Ah, I think that goes without saying but it just goes to highlight how truly incredible these athletes are. In addition, I think it shows quite how difficult these courses are and that actually while the pros are out for 3-4hrs, average people end up spending an awful lot more time on course making it a great challenge.

Great reporting the girl reporter is the best so enthusiastic and funny. Watching almost making me think of trying one. Always been a road runner but you only live once. What's best for the first time anyone?.

Anyone else feel like the 'Mont blanc marathon' should reach the summit of Mont blanc? I know it's way more technical than pikes peak, but still

Why wouldn't you ask somebody how the French place names are pronounced correctly?

thought the commentary was pretty awesome. Except for the guys weird, distracting accent. Cool to see the most important sections of the race and see the top racers do their job.
