Trail Running Insider Ep.2 - Mont-Blanc Marathon
Спорт
The Mont Blanc Marathon leads runners once around the world-famous valley of Chamonix and offers incredible views to Mont Blanc, the top of the Alps. It's one of those places where you can practice all kind of mountain sports and the trail running scene there is huge! Awesome ingredients for one of the best competitions in the world...

I dont know how i found this but this is the coolest thing ever
the best content in trail running. In running. Maybe even in sports.
I look forward to running this on June 30, and hope to meet some of these amazing athletes ⭐️
Another mega high quality video. I look forward to these each and every time. I especially like the interviews with the runners describing how they were feeling and their strategy at different points of the race we were seeing. Gives it so much more context! The footage of them bombing the downhill was also amazing.
great episode - way more focused on the right stuff than episode 1, thanks for listening to everyone's feedback!!
Growing up in Germany, I remember visiting Chamonix during the winter with family to ski on Mont-Blanc. I didn't know it was a mecca for trail running, but it makes complete sense. I can't wait to get back some day.
Loved this video, thank you, 👏👏👏🙏great motivational content and athletes, so I’m even more enthused for my first ever trail marathon at Wendover UK in November as a MV65, regards Mark
Wow, this might be one of the most epic videos I've ever stumbled upon! Great work!!
Would love to see the Kenyan runners featured in the interviews next time!

One of them isn't even Kenyan! Which we would know if they were interviewed.
Awesome coverage of an awesome race!
Absolutely fantastic production. Thanks so much team..
Great energy and fun in theses videos. In spirit of constructive criticism, it did seem to me that the front of pack Kenyans Robert and Petro never get named by name, but everyone else does. And Petro is Eritrean, not Kenyan.

Yes. Really bothered me how much the culture of the race otherized these two.

Sensacional . Conteúdo espetacular. Obrigado por essas belas imagens e excelente resumo !!
Great race - great video
Love these videos, thanks for your work!
Awesome recap!
When can we expect more episodes? Loved this and I found it a nice summary of the race. The live events are good, but long naturally, it would be nice to have more of these snapshot episodes as they make for a more dynamic watch.
Great coverage, so good to hear the athletes !
Scenery is spectacular, young person's sport.
it would be great to hear from some of the runners who are not from europe/usa: kenya, eritrea, Japan, mexico, morocco....
Espectacular
after the 2019's incredible video production which I have watched 3-4 times, it is nice to see you guys back on track.
Top coverage!
Do you have the wrong nationality flag for John Albon for the whole race? He just doesn't sound especially Norwegian...

he has been based in norway for a long time, more than 5 years I guess. At this point, he might be able to change his nationality.

He is a Britain 🇬🇧 citizen for sure, maybe the norvegian federation has decided to include him in a secret program like for many norvegians 🤨 😅

Great video! Good resumen of all the action (any idea about the music used?)
Good episode, guys. Well done. Please try to give equal coverage to the African runners, noting that they're not both from Kenya (Petro is Eritrean).
Brilliant race and excellent coverage, thoroughly enjoyed watching it, well done to everyone involved. I've now subscribed so I don't miss any future races.
great coverage 👍🙏
nice!
Well it seems to have become considerably more professional in the ten years since I did it. More of a pro race than a local marathon that happens to be in the mountains….be interesting to know if regular runners of the event preferred the new or old approach to, and climb up the Posettes, and the town level finish?
This recap was good! More of the good stuff. Thanks for listening to feedback from Zegama recap
espectacular
I really like Kavinsky style music in that video
this is so good video ! thx!
Sería excelente que habilitarán los subtitulos. Saludos fraternos.
The subtitles are a bit off, peace instead of pace and it's not Nineke but Nienke (Brinkman). Other that that great coverage, these runners falling and just continuing, incredible.
great see sheila aviles and ruy ueda, known skyrunners, running now in this series
😁😁😁😁😄😁😁go to see paul Chan's Hiking。。。。that's 😃😃🥰🥰😜😜🥰😃😃😃funny。

Good - such a shame trail running is not in Olympics - the MTB XC bike course could be used for shorter distance races doing laps

Do you think the essence of Trail Running is doing laps? If trail running goes to the Olympics, the origin of the sport will be destroyed...Look at the Ski Mountaineering actually ... What a nightmare.

I thought Mont Blanc is in France, not Germany.
Albon is british...
Trails are to rough!!!! And it seems the trail is on a mountain. I don't like 4 hr. Nascar. I don't like 2 day golf. Sorry. Thanks. Righteousness. Natural disasters.
The presenters during the intro are unbearable, immature and unprofessional...
