Scooting 902 😂😂😂 no worries man the dislikes don’t bother me. Even guys like Garret (cleetus McFarland ) get hundreds of dislikes and he makes amazing content.

Brakes: early gti & VR are 280mm, they have a square hole on the top These are exact the same as g60 calipers Later gti & VR are 288, they have a trianglular hole on top As for rears there mainly the same but mk4 ones are aluminium

This channel needs way more subs, absolutely quality content. My end goal is to have a VR6 in my Mk1, they just sound so good!

with the g60 rotor it will fit for sure, it's what i ran on my mk2.

I agree, the big ones would be cool, but using the g60 you would have all the wheels and plenty of room. Id also worry with those big brakes that they are dual piston and who knows if a mk3 master cylinder would even work with it

Those bakes would look great on Miley . Looking forward to the wagon roof box getting a fresh coat of trim paint 👍 . Just had my new Cruize Blade alloys fitted on my MK5 R32 😃with stretched tyres .It looks soooo much better .

@Christian smith I love how the brakes look and again great content but can i stress a point that i think may be a issue... It may be that i couldn't see the wheels alongside the car but was your tyres past your arch? If so how will you get around it ? New wheels with different offsets? Or will it just be a no go? Curious as to how this will look as i may encounter the same issue with my own project!

Vr6 Nick the zaubers have stretched tires so when I air out the car they fit right under the fenders no worries 🤘🏼

@@Mk3Smith that's a absolute result! I did think this was the case as it usually is with bagged cars. I just couldn't tell From the angle of the video. This will make for interesting up and coming contents. How do you feel about harlequin VW's?

I have the 280mm GTI/VR6 Brakes with 5x100 axle from an VR6/GTI on my vr6 swapped mk3 . My next upgrade were I collecting parts at the moment is for the Audi S3 8L Brake Upgrade. The Calipers from an Audi S3 8L, an Audi A3 or Mk3/MK4 GTI with the 288mm Brakediscs in kombination with caliper holder from the s3 and 312mm 5x100 Brakediscs from the S3.

Wait what? Do they have a big enough rotor that is 5x100? And is it a direct fit or mods to be made?

@@robertpineda577 The Brave Discs from the Audi S3 8L or the Golf MK4 V6 are 312mm and 5x100 they will fit to the axles of the MK3 GTI/VR6 with 5x100. The Brake calipers from ATE from the 288mm, 312mm brake on the MK3, MK4, S3 8l are all the same and could be used. Brake caliper holders are needed from an Audi S3 8L or Golf MK4 V6. The MK3 GTI/VR6 Brake Discs and Mk4 312mm Brake Discs have a little height Difference. To correct that difference you have to use a spacer or washers between the mounting holes on the axles an the caliper holder.

Christian Smith you need to take everything off the front suspension.you bought. right down to the Trailing Arms you got ,everything your using comes off a (plusfahrwerk) basicly. which is for a vr6 a heaven. to have handeling wise!

Albert Baaren I would but I’m going to be swapping all my stuff out for the tubular stuff from fabless. Control arms, front cross bar, and mounts and then doing the eibach upgraded swap bars front and rear

Valentin Neagu I looked but for mk3 hubs I only saw Porsche/Audi/Seat adapters I didn’t see any for Mercedes/Lorinser

Would be cheaper and easier to get a vmaxx bigbrake. 900€ for 4pot 350mm 2 piece rotors and legal! The lorinser are nice, but a hassle to get rotors and adapters to fit. Already had the same prpb with some 4pot Alfa Brembos I had.

You may want to also look at what braking psi the callaper needs. Running those big boys may take more then the stock booster can do, it depends on bore size of the master. If it dosent the pedal will just go the floor. There ways to work around it, and as with all things it will come down to cost to make it work. That being said, I hope it works!!

Joe,i know a guy with a mk4 golf who run Lamborghini brakes 370mm on front and 340mm in the back on stock booster with zero issue.

@@valentinneagu9933 cool. Im not saying it will be a problem. But I have done upgrades where I have had to change the master and the proportion valve had to be changed to keep the front from locking up under hard track use. Slapping it on and hoping that it will be fine, or engineering it to work right. I may sound old, but a married man has to put his safety first.

Hey, Christian! I finally bought my first vw vento. But there's huge problem- they do not sell Rust-Oleum trim paint ( vento bumper's definitely need it) So my question is what's the next best trim paint for car?

Eazy Juice there’s a few other brands that I’ve seen that make their own trim paint. The rustoleum is by far my favorite and has the best finish I think. Have you checked on eBay or amazon to see if you can order it?

Da9boi’s Mekk yeah the day I was bringing the car home from being sprayed I ran over a spray can and it exploded and did that to the side of the car. The car is sprayed in halo efx so it’s basically a super fancy plasti dip that will peel off.

Those Lorinser calipers look like you might need to run a 312mm rotor but it is hard to tell through video

Pointless to get big calipers with those wheels , just find Touareg calipers 17z brembo
